View Full Version : Characters you expect to get demutated at some point, and those you don't

Which characters do you think will be demutated at some point in the series, and which ones do you never expect to turn back to humans or be demutated?

Demutated:

- Karai
- Mutagen Man
- Spiderbitez

Stay as mutants forever:

- Bebop/Rocksteady
- Tiger Claw
- Any animal mutant who wasn't human prior, (like Slash, Leatherhead, Pigeon Pete, etc)

Could go either way:

- Baxter
- Rahzar and Fishface

What about Spiderbitez specifically makes you think he'll be de-mutated? The rest I understand & agree with.

His VA is rare to get back for the show hence him only being in two episodes overall and since his character was just a normal guy and not a villain its easy to change him back to normal and just be done with him. I can see Don wanting to test retromutagen on another subject at some point and I can see Spiderbitez being demutated alongside Mutagen Man, etc. at whatever point that comes.

Also he was one of the less popular mutants/characters of the show, so Nick has no reason to keep him around longterm like some of the others.

I was actually hoping Bebop and Rocksteady would kast all of 1 episode before being de-mutated. Though it would be a fun jab at fans shrieking for the characters to be in the show.

It could still happen, and they might even turn into allies of the Turtles at some point if they did. :P

Interesting…. I have no idea who is likely to be demutated, if anyone, but I know who I'd like to have demutated:

Karai
Timothy/Pulverizer/Mutagen Man
Baxter Stockman
Dr. Rockwell
Xever/Fishface

As for Bebop and Rocksteady, I doubt they'll ever demutate them, but I can't lie, I'd like it if they eventually did. I love B&R and want to see them stick around for awhile and be awesome, but I also loved human Zeck and Steranko and thought they had great potential as human characters.

I know that Dogpound double-mutating into Rahzar was a bit of a fluke, since they only did it because they didn't like Dogpound, but I wonder if they'll ever double-mutate anyone else?

Everyone with the exception of the turtles and maybe Splinter demutates. This is assuming they do a series finale (a rarity in kids shows). But you turn all the villains back into mindless animals or relatively harmless humans (who then turn their backs on Shredder). Maybe Baxter returns to human form and celebrates prematurely before being placed under arrest by police who catch him in foot clan activity.

really hope that karai gets demutated in season 4 if not later in this season

i consider that as more than a fluke since the "collect the mutagen canisters before some random person gets mutated" line and how 1 of leos swords fell in that mutagen tank

I'd like to see Sir Malachi get demutated as well, even though being a mutant doesn't see to bother him.

Karai probably, otherwise she'll just remain a mindless monster and that would be a really unsatisfying conclusion to any version of this character.

Mutagen Man is a bit up in the air honestly, seems to me like the writers built him up and forgot about him after the pay-off, I think he was only in the season finale because someone went "oh yeah, forgot about him".

Spiderbitez though? He's such a minor character, maybe there will be an episode where he is demutated alongside many other former humans as a collective conclusion to them, but it would not surprise me if he never shows up again or many of the other former humans for that matter.

With Bebop and Rocksteady I get this idea that they might be planning on getting rid of Fishface alongside either Baxter-Fly or Tiger Claw (although Tiger Claw is pretty much Ciro's Mary Sue, I doubt he'll go anytime soon).

Tiger Claw will most likely stay a mutant.

The "always animals" will also stay mutants, unless it's for a non-death scenario.

Baxter I think will be demuated, clearing out the mutant Foot remember.

Fishface might get demutated but Rahzar won't go back until we get Tokka.

I really hope Baxter changes back! He's my favorite villain and I didn't think he deserved being mutated. I mean, I know he's a piece of crap, but he was bullied by Shredder and his lackeys. I feel like we should sympathize with Baxter. But I know that won't happen :P

Fishface is becoming very irrelevant since Dogpound became Rahzar and Tiger Claw came in. Now with Bebop/Rocksteady too Fishface is even more redundant.

My guess is Fishface gets demutated and returns to the Purple dragons or he gets double mutated to something else.

I'm calling it now- Fishface ends up as the "new" Armaggon. Then gets de-mutated later. (Maybe.)

I don't know who I think the show will demutate, but I do know who I want to be mutated that most feel is unlikely to happen... Tigerclaw because he's embraced his mutant form a bit too well. Seriously, him referring to Karai as Shredder's cub was weird to hear, so I think it would be interesting to see him having to deal with being human.

I think Doctor Rockwell should be approached with the option of being human once again as his humanity was taken from him. But I see him refusing.

Mutagen man I think they've had plenty of chances to restore him, and generally if they don't bother to restore something the first time it is more likely they would be forced to be destroyed, okay with their mutation, or destroyed in an attempt to restore them. It's been heavily emphasized that Donnie is responsible for Timmy so be it MM having to be killed or MM having a violent reaction to the mutagen, Donnie is likely to do MM in.

Rocksteady and Bebop I don't know if they would be restored. They might want the retromutagen at first, but with the Kraang gone mutagen is going to be scarce. So they learn to love their new forms and their advantages.

Karai I definitely can see restored but I think she would still be able to transform into a mutant snake.

Tiger Claw would also be returned to human. I can see Donnie getting captured and then trying to understand where Tiger Claw is coming from as his enemy and offering the promise of retromutagen from there.

Well it is true. Tiger Claw is an absurdly badass mercenary with a mysterious past and has doubts about his master, yet somehow comes across as pointless to the story and generally feels like someone tried too hard to make him compelling. All traits of a Mary Sue character, hell when Ciro talks about him in interviews he's pretty much saying "LOVE MY OC!!!".

Karai because she is my daughter i will do evrything i can to turn her back to normal! Also Slash because then the turtles will have one less friend to fight with them.

It's no wonder you failed as a parent, considering how bad your grammar is.

You tell it, Shredder! :D But I'm sure Raphael would greatly appreciate the return of Spike.

Demutate:
Obviously Karai.
I'd love to see Xever demutate and go rogue.
If they remember Timothy exists then yeah...but realistically they'll just drop this plot.

Remain Mutated:
Shredder's henchmen minus Xever.

I lol'd harder than I should have at this.
But demutate Karai and I dunno Mutagen man and the innocent humans.
