View Full Version : Speculation on the next Turtle Lair

For those who have watched Battle for New York,

New York have been restored to normal and the turtles won't be able to stay in the pizza place any longer, as humans will be back to operate the business soon.
So, where do you think the turtles will be heading next? Back to the sewer? O'Neil's apartment? Kurtzman's warehouse together with the Mighty Mutanimals?

They will probably find some abandoned underground subway station, and use as there new home.

They will probably find some abandoned underground subway station, and use as there new home.I was thinking this myself. Makes sense, and to save money, they can reuse backgrounds or whatever from the old lair...which looked like part of a subway station anyway.

Having the bad guys know where they live never stopped the turtles from staying where they grew up, so who's to say they won't go back to the lair?

What about their old lair now that the kraang are gone

Kinda think of it, with the Kraang gone, are the Foot Bots still operational? Without them, Shredder & gang could have lost track of the old lair location, unless one of the patrolling Mousers managed to report it back to Stockman.

In fact, the O'Neils are probably the ones who need to hunt for a new place, as Shredder's henchmen knew exactly where they were staying due to the Leo beatdown.

Where would the Mutanimals stay? The Turtle's lair isn't big enough for all of them, I'm sure they will find some abandoned underground place.

They would certainly go back to the lair to see if it's salvageable. But odds are likely the next episode is going to have the Turtles moving out of their lair.

I guess the writers would have to somehow find a way to get the Turtles back to the old lair. I mean, isn't Timothy still there?

As far as we know he is...since Donnie didn't return to the lair the last time the guys infiltrated it for supplies, it is possible that they didn't pay Timothy any mind.

So if he's no longer there, then Donnie would discover he was missing.

What if Mutagen Man was missing, and then the Mutanimals found him?

Which btw, Happened in the 1st issue of the Mutanimals comic on IDW.

Refurbish the original lair. Anywhere else would likely be underground anyway.

IIRC it was only the Kraang not the Foot who found the lair. Better rewatch.

That's not to say they couldn't repair some things. Or they may stay there temporarily and then look for a new home and be permanently settled there. That's my guess.

I'd like them to go back to the old lair myself, but Leo was pretty dead set of setting up a secondary location even before the Kraang hit the fan, so I wouldn't be surprised it they set up somewhere new.

You have a good point. I hope they return to the sewers. To the turtles, the sewers has always been their home. But, I wouldn't be surprised if the creators decided to go with a new lair either.
