After seeing Kurtzman's lizard woman, I'm wondering what else Nick has sort of slipped in that could be construed as naughty for a kids show. I recall a few things, but I probably missed a lot.

There are Raph's curse words that are creatively changed to more innocent terms and apparently Mikey just recently said some things that are a bit naughty sounding. I have to go back and watch the episode again to listen for myself.

The sort of sexy pin up girl Raph painted on the party wagon and Kurtzman's lizard woman.

There are also the butt cannons. Raph just recently said something about them having a hot one in the chamber.

Why do most of these center around Raph. :)

In the Squirrelnoid ep, I kinda interpreted Mikey's line as "naughty" when Raph was getting on Mikey staying up all night reading scary comics and Mikey said he wasn't reading them and that he was up all night because he was "polishing" his "grappling hook". I know he actually had been reading scary comics....but, yeah...that could have a double meaning. Who stays up all night polishing a grappling hook? lol ><

Donnie going on about what teens do in the woods who like each other when alone, although, personally, that could be a double whammy.

Since it was horror-themed, my mind didn't jump to the "naughty" stuff...my mind jumped to them being killed first and then the naughty stuff and then it jumped to, doing naughty things and being killed while doing so. :-P :lol:

Like someone else pointed out, most of what Raph says that can be curseword substitutions. It's like the younger Pete in the Adventures of Pete & Pete. His character was written that way and since they couldn't have a child using actual curse words, for Danny Tamborelli, the writers would have him say other words in their place.

I really do feel you guys are reaching with April eating the pizza and Mikey licking the ice cream cone. Pizza is cheesy and drips. Ice cream is licked. Geez... With the pizza photo, I guess I'm more innocent minded than I realize. I still don't see how anyone saw it as anything out of the ordinary. She's just eating pizza. I just can't find the provocativeness in it. It just strikes me as something you'd have to seriously look for.

Well, when you look at the graffiti it shows Casey in his mask standing over April who has a 5 on her shirt, so it's definitely her.I honestly don't see what the big deal is with that either or what's naughty about it, as it's a throwback to the Star Wars movie poster. If anything, seems Casey was depicting himself as April's protector and April as the Damsel in Distress.

I really do feel you guys are reaching with April eating the pizza and Mikey licking the ice cream cone. Pizza is cheesy and drips. Ice cream is licked. Geez... With the pizza photo, I guess I'm more innocent minded than I realize. I still don't see how anyone saw it as anything out of the ordinary. She's just eating pizza. I just can't find the provocativeness in it. It just strikes me as something you'd have to seriously look for.

The point of this thread is not to compare who is more innocent or twisted than the rest. The purpose is to point out stuffs that *someone* in Ciro's team (or Ciro himself :trolleye:) deliberately insert into the cartoon that will blow by kids' mind (and the censorship board), but will eventually be picked up by adult viewers as something naughty/obscene. The keyword here is deliberately, the intention is obviously there.

I think it is more a question as to how you judge these things..its not so much a thing of 'do you really think about sex when watching this or re-watching this?' or 'do you think THAT is what this character is thinking about/ is referring to in that moment there?' but more a thing of 'haha, I see what the guys producing this show/product snuck in to have a good time with an inside gag'...;)

The bite marks were part of the ruse. Karai poisoned him through her kiss, but as he was left as bait for Raph and Mikey they wouldn't have known what was wrong with him. So they had the extra bites to his pants at least to let them know what they were dealing with.
