I don't watch this series, but I will definitely make a point to catch this episode. A mirage nod, Greg Cipes voicing Mikey, a pizza theme, seems great!

Well, I'm glad to see the TMNT are fair game for shameless parody in other cartoon shows again. That's when you know you've truly "arrived" on a pop culture level.

I can't remember the last time we had a TMNT parody in another show. I think there was one on Family Guy in recent years but can't remember.

Mad's animated series had 3 or 4 TMNT parody shorts in recent years, so I'd think they were the latest up until this point, not counting the previous TTG episode.

Heard about this on Saturday - sweet! I think TTG only gets so much hate because fans have the original Teen Titans to compare it to...but I like both, so I'm looking forward to this.

Was confused when I saw they were going to do a full episode based on that tiny TMNT cameo from before, but that clip made me chuckle pretty hard, gotta say. Having Greg voice one of them was obvious, but the Booyakasha nod was a really great touch of legitimacy. Cyborg's comment about it sounding like his catchphrase also made me laugh. Looking forward to this!

I dislike it because it's a comedy show and for the most part the humour is childish to me.

Yeah, same. For me, it's like anything else: Time, money, and resources being spent on something appealing to the lowest common denominator, instead of something of substance like "Young Justice". I mean, if people like it that's fine, but to me, it's kind of a waste. Of the characters, of potential stories, of studio resources, of everything. It's only "good" in the sense of, "The alternative is nothing at all."

If there was a "real" DC cartoon show airing at the same time, that's fine, you get something for This group of fans and something for That group. But we've had three Batman shows in the last 15 years, with Zero at the moment, and Absolutely Zero new Superman cartoons for almost 20 years now if you discount shows he co-starred in with other characters... so yeah, I find TTG to be a waste of effort, given the circumstances. They'd be better off doing "real" shows with more familiar characters.

At least their live-action shows are apparently killing it. But some good cartoons would be nice, too.

It was pretty awesome. It was no doubt the Turtles, right weapons they went with the red masks (reddish at least), there was even a brief version of Splinter. I chuckled a few times.

This was very cute. I loved all the nods to other turtle stuff, the graffiti, "It's just a mask", etc. Definitely glad I caught it, & it's worth watching if you're a TMNT fan. Buuut on the flipside, I definitely understand why this show gets hated on. :tlol: The XD factor is off the charts. Not a fan.

Teen Titans Go was the result of the CEO of Cartoon Network at the time, Wanting shows aimed at boys then the girls, Its why Young Justice got canceled, They wanted shows that were aimed at little kids.

Teen Titans Go gets a lot of hate because, People wanted a serious animated series, Young Justice was that.

I can't say I can stomach every (or even most episodes) of Teen Titans Go!, but Young Justice wasn't exactly my cup of tea either. And "Let's Get Serious" was one OF TTG's shining moments:
