This is my first time to this site and since it seems to have pretty much all kinds of information about the old TMNT show, I figured I'd ask a question about the show on this forum. I just wanted to know if in the original series there ever was an episode where the turtles were turned human somehow. Seems like a gold mine of an episode plot to me, since there would be all kinds of things that could happen after that, but I'm not sure if it was ever done. If anyone knows about this, I'd appreciate the name of the episode where this happened.

There was one episode where Michelangelo turned into human, can't remember the title tough. The episode wasn't anything special.

It was "The Gang's all here"
Karpo is right it wasn't that great of an episode, but it had good parts, like Bebop dressed up as an old lady, when April beats up Mikey and Shredder talking about baking

Alright, thanks for clearing that up for me. It's too bad the old show is not on anymore, so you can't just watch tv and figure these things out. But at least we have the new show now - better than nothing.

Stuff like THAT is why I miss the old series so much. The sheer random insanity of it all gave it that certain appeal. *sai*

That episode was pretty funny, Bebop & Rocksteady teaming up with their old gang again and yet more irony of how could the TMNT possibly NOT know that the old lady was Bebop and the crook was Rocksteady.

Didn't the turtles human origin come from Hamato Yoshi? So did they turn into him?

They acquired human traits/genes from Hamato Yoshi.

Mike was the only one who turned into a human, and he looked like your average American teen.

Yet the TMNT found another teenager who looked just like the transformed Michelangelo and they even knew what he looked like since he turned into a human

I never got that either, but it made for a pretty good joke there. BTW, that human Mike look-alike was voiced by Rob Paulson.

That show was funny, but the whole turning human bit was just too boring. The most interesting aspect of the Turtles is that they are mutated turtles. So who the hell wants to see them as human? But I guess it made for a little break in the average story lines.

The main idea of that episode was most definitly about the turtles' longing to have a normal life.

Wasn't there cookies involved? Or, was that a different episode?

Well, considering that the turtles were constantly in contact with the human population, but were never allowed to participate in their daily life, this would probably become a bit of a problem as time went on. So they would try to life a normal life at least at some point I assume. And yes, cookies were definately involved in that episode.

Yeah there were. Shredder tricked the turtles into taking a bag of cookies. It was cookies that had the mutagan in them. Donny ran some tests on them and found this out, but Mikey decided he wanted to be able to party like a normal human, so he ate one.

Shades of prejudice there. I'd do a big civil rights demonstration for Turtle-americans!
