Let's discuss who should be worthy to voice Lord Dregg in this series. By the way, is there a source that confirms that Dregg will appear?

If he's anything like the original he needs to sound sophisticated, intelligent, and evil. That said I can't see anyone pulling off as good a voice as Tony Jay. He MADE Lord Dregg and without him he would have just been a generic alien.

Yeah, I'm with Cubed. I'm psyched to see him return but I cannot for the life of me think of anyone who could do a performance like that. Granted, with this redesign of his, they may not need that. He could end up being best suited with something more creepy & scratchy, given they're supposedly cranking up the insect angle. Ask me again when there's a preview of his appearance. :trazz:

The Nickelodeon fanatic in me would love to see Dee Baker voice a character.

I'm sure all the characters he's done, he can make a voice for Dregg.

I've got it. Brad Garrett. He's got a reeeeally deep voice, he's a fantastic actor both on stage & in the booth, aaand he's a friend of Rob Paulsen. MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Sophisticated, intelligent and evil? My thoughts immediately turn to the talents of Tim Curry; dude's done VA work before. My vote is cast thusly.

I will vote for Tim Curry since among the listed actors he is the closest we will get to the original.

I would say Cory Corey Burton. If he puts on the "Count Dooku" voice. That could work. I think Tim curry could do it as well.

Tim Curry was the voice of Captain Hook in the 90s, so yea he'd do an awesome job.

Speaking of classic voice actors, I just randomly watched into The Real Ghostbusters animation yesterday and to my shock, Peter Venkman voice is Garfield!

Everytime he opened his mouth I heard that long, drawn, bored fat cat voice lol!!

Lorenzo Music was the 1st Peter....eventually he'd be voiced by:

In this incarnation? Yes. Now, new to the franchise? He was in the main antagonist of the 9th and 10th seasons of the OT.:tangel:

Um- wut?! :teek: It's 80's American culture- not THAT different from today- just more over the top. :trazz:

:teek:B-but. That's when so many things started. If things hadn't been that way, some things today never would've come to be... Meh, everyone's entitled to their opinion.
So you've never seen the classics like I Love Lucy and The Andy Griffith Show?
Then again, I've never seen either of those.:ohwell: See your point though. Oh, what has the world come too if this is how today's youth is...

80's is barely any different than today, just more rock music and VHS tapes.

I'd say I love any of these guys to voice Dregg.

Tim Curry- Insanely good voice actor

Mark Hamill- I could honestly see some Stars Wars references in the character with this option. Hamill is the one guy I want to see voice a character in the show that has yet to appear yet. Can be a fun voice actor with the character.

Ron Perlman- He seems to be a popular choice, but it depends on what he voices in the long run. Killer Croc and Hellboy were excellent by Perlman but I found his voice for the Hulk a weak role. A bada** choice either way.

Corey Burton- If Dregg were made to be serious like the Red Sky seasons, Burton is another great choice. His voice is cold, terrifying, and represents the much more serious attitude of Dregg.

It's really hard for me to choose, they're all great picks to voice Dregg and I'd love to see them all appear in the future as voicing characters. If I had to rank them though here's how I'd see it:

1. Corey Burton
2. Ron Perlman
3-4 Toss up between Tim Curry and Mark Hamill
