Hello, I'm new :)

[KC Midnight]

Hello, I'm Kim! I was lurking for a few months before I finally bit the bullet and registered for the board.

I grew up on the old 80's cartoon, however, I kind of lost interest in the fandom and really didn't pay any attention to it until recently. Fast forward to a few months ago and my BFF's fiance kept going on and on and TMNT so I figured why not check it out?

It took me a little while to get back into things, I had a real problem with the 2k12 animation at first, but needless to say I got over that and have been watching/reading anything I could get my hands on. 8)

So hello! :)

Greetings!

I advise tracking down and reading/watching:

#1. The IDW comics
#2. The 4Kids (2003) cartoon
#3. The Mirage comics

... In that order. That is, in my opinion, the best TMNT has to offer. :tgrin:

Thanks!

I've already started to check out the IDW comics and just realized that the 2k3 series is on YouTube. Guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend. :P

Hi. Welcome to the 'drome! Hope you have a good time.

And I know a place where you can read the Mirage comics. Just gotta do some digging around.

I'm pretty good at digging around online. I'll start looking once I catch up on IDW. I've got about 30 or so more to go. :P

Perfectly fine if you had struggles entering the fandom at first. Everyone has trouble doing so, I should know as I've been on that boat before.

Either way, welcome aboard Kim!

[senpai]

Welcome!

I have to read the Mirage comics next too :D

Welcome to the forums - glad you took the jump to join us here and that you're enjoying your re-entry to the fandom so far! Everyone's got stuff they like and stuff they don't like so don't sweat it if there's anything you really can't enjoy. :tsmile:
