I've never really paid too much attention to the sliding doors in the dojo until now, but I think they look pretty cool and mean more than just a simple design.

The doors look like it's a story, read from right to left. On the right we have four ninja, using swords, a staff, sai, and the last weapon looks like the ends of a kusarigama, though I can't see the chain. The next is of a warrior in a nifty helmet. The one after that has the four ninja fighting this warrior, and the last is the warrior defeated by the ninja, but what looks like an evil spirit coming out of him (or it's just a way of showing his death).

I think it's definitely supposed to be referencing the turtles vs Shredder, but whether it's foreshadowing the final fight or just a nod to them in general is up to you. The final panel actually reminds me of the Tengu Shredder from the 2003 series, though I'd kind of doubt if they'd actually include him as something the turtles will face (time travel?).

At any rate, I think it's pretty neat and a nice nod to the turtles vs Shredder if nothing else. Apologies if this has already been mentioned.

Interesting. Don't think I've ever noticed it before. Good catch!

The ninja that you think has a Kusurigama has Kama Sickles.

I don't think the Turtles even payed much attention to is before as Japanese Shogi wall screens are sometimes painted to depict events in a clans history, elements of nature, pieces of mythology.

Perhaps there is a story with this screen that hasn't been told yet.
