You know, thinking about the OT character Muckman/Garson grunge, and the 4kids character Garbage Man, and I was thinking: wouldn't these two characters make sense being foes of each other? Garbage man kidnapping homeless people and turning them into slaves working his garbage pits, and Muckman a sort-of garbage mutant or golem-like creature, protecting the homeless of New York, like the Golem of Prague protected the city's Jewish population in folklore. The two seem like the perfect natural enemies, I just thought they'd make perfect enemies in an IDW TMNT story. Just a thought...

No, not IDW. But TMNT Adventures (Archie), most definitely.

I suppose it would make sense, but I'm not interested in seeing either character ever again.

That's a pretty nifty idea.

They're both way too goofy to fit in the IDW series. Love Muckman, but do not want.

Could work in the nick toon, though. Muckman involves the Turtles when Garbage Man grows too strong.

Yes. Nick cartoon. Not IDW.

I hated Garbageman. He was such a bland, odd out-of-nowhere character in my opinion.

Garbageman is a character who existed when PL forbid the 4kids writers from using old mutant characters. Yeah...makes no sense, huh?

Considering I just watched the Garbage Man episode, yeah I could totally see a rivalry going on between him and Muckman. Maybe a good idea for the Nick series? I don't think it needs to be a recurring theme, but maybe good for an episode or two.

That's a very good idea and set up. I could see that happening. I hope they would have something like that in the animated series or at least the comics.

I can understand how they could've messed up in the first season with this character in his first appearance. Sometimes some ideas just sound better than what they end up becoming. But he got a sequel episode, jeeze. How many one shot characters in 2k3 deserved a second appearance and yet the worst character in 2k3 got a second episode. Why? Did Laird really like this character? Did he let this character pass so he could complain about the other story arc focused episodes and not be seen as someone who vetoed everything? Playmates had no toy of him so no reason for them to lobby for him to get any episodes. Then in a twist of fate it was the censors who stopped a third garbage man episode from being produced...On one hand if they hadn't stopped the episode maybe the fifth season would've had 13 episodes instead of 12 so it was like a real episode we lost and it being cancelled didn't mean another episode got to be made so we lost some cool action scenes or maybe his redemption as a character..but on the other hand we didn't get to suffer through another Garbage man episode that might've convoluted things up by being Hun's conjoined twin, that doesn't sound very appealing but who knows maybe it could've redeemed him as a character...
