For whoever asked if these were drawn by Tormented Vagrant . . .

This is the official newspaper strip, pre-Dan Berger. The strip started in late 1990 and Dan took over about a year later. Dan only really has access to the strips he did, which is why these strips are never run on the official TMNT site. In 1991/1992, a publication called 'Comics Revue' reprinted the strips, collecting about a month's worth at a time. The first few weeks were illustrated by Ryan Brown, and then Jim Lawson took over for the rest of the first year. At this point Dan Berger took over, but his strips have been shown on the official TMNT site for years and still are, so there's no need to post them here. For those of you that are only familiar with the Dan Berger era strips, I think you will find these strips to be a bit of a treat. There are a few gags, but mostly the strip was story-based at this time, and was written by Dean Clarrain, who also wrote 'TMNT Adventures'. Further on down the line, there is a story that is actually an adaptation of Mirage's TMNT #28, with the fishmen in the polluted body of water. It's kind of fun to compare Lawson's super-serious art in TMNT #28 to the goofy, whimsical style he uses in the newspaper strip on the same story. Anyway, I think everyone needs to give Tormented Vagrant a big pat on the back for putting these up. There are about 90 pages of strips, so enjoy.

Is those on the top by Ryan Brown? I'm no expert on artists on the Archie series, but doesn't that look like Mitchroney?
