I'll be attending a convention in a year and I'd like to know what I want to get already. Does anyone know where I can get a good Deadpool costume (+ accessories)? I don't want them to be too expensive.

I've seen f*cking AMAZING Deadpool stuff on Etsy (in addition to almost any/every comic book character), but it's a little bit pricey. Terrific quality stuff, though, and the prices are actually pretty reasonable for how good it all looks. That's probably the best you're gonna get without doing a ton of customizing and stuff by hand.

Here ya go. Have fun. :tgrin: https://www.etsy.com/search/clothing?q=deadpool&ref=esearch_group4 That's just clothing, like the costume and mask etc., you should also search under Accessories for the belt and stuff like that. Prices vary, as you can see, but it should be enough to get you started.

Good luck buddy. :)

Ebay or Google a few sellers and compare prices. That's what I did. I ended up going through zentai-zentai because they did customized sizes. My experience with them was horrible. They ended up making my suit completely wrong and charged me extra for something that I had asked for (no mesh for eye holes in the mask) but they went ahead and put the mesh on there anyway so I had to cut it myself and ended up messing up the mask. :( They ship from somewhere in China so there was no way I was sending it back. I ended up hounding them for, like, 8 months to fix my cosplay and they kept saying I should expect a new suit in a few weeks. It never came. To sum up, I would try getting a custom fitted suit through someone in the states and who has great ratings. I did some research before going to zentai-zentai and after reading all the good reviews I thought it'd be worth it. It was a major let down. One day I will be able to cosplay as DP... :\

Good luck with your search!

I've been working on something for Halloween, and I've noticed that it's tough to find anything really good that doesn't also cost some coin. Something like Deadpool, especially, with all the "flair" and whatnot. The thing I'm working on is much much simpler, and I actually assembled most of it by hand, and altogether I still spent around $200-250.

You want quality, you're going to spend, either money or time.

Ain't that the truth. :)

It took me altogether just about an entire day to stitch a certain chest logo together and onto the costume, by hand. Because I hate the way pre-fab designs for this outfit generally look. Or another piece of it, that took altogether probably 2-3 days in total. But it only cost about $40 of materials, whereas I've seen similar, ready-made version of the same piece for hundreds of dollars. Me, I'd rather spend time than money, but mileage may vary.

Probably going with Leo's link for costume and this for belt:

No idea to be honest what I need to put the swords in. No idea what swords either.
Does anyone know?

If you want to get creative you make your own with pvc pipes then paint them.

So how did it work out? Would be good for Halloween or conventions.

I didn't do sh*t yet because the con is like September.
Going as Kylo Ren probably.
