Do the people responsible want to do it? Yes, that's been known for a long time.

Has the studio commited? Nope, not so far as the fandom has heard. And that's really what matters the most in the long run. Untill that happens, we ain't gettin' it.

I know of the part where April pitches a TMNT comic to some guy and it's too far fetched he says. Anyone know of any other stuff?

yeah, quite a bit was cut out, including the alternate ending. a lot of stuff that was cut would have, in my opinion, made the movie a LOT better, such as some stuff with mike being VERY depressed and angry on the farm. another little sequence which i think would have been great in the final cut was a jucier "final lesson" the turtles complete at the farm. it really makes the fireside chat in the final cut look lame. i also belive there was a scene with don making raph some new sais....

in my opinion.. ANY development of Mikes character would have been welcome.. it seems like he was the only one who wasnt given much of a personality..

and I really would have loved for them to release a version with deleted scenes and bloopers.. because you know there had to be tons of them

Well New Line has some intrest in TMNT, since it released the 3 DVD box of the movies. But are they willing to produce a Special edition.. Time will tell.

I would love to see a Directors cut/Special Edition of the TMNT Movie and TMNT 2 also.

I just don't want them trying to get creative and start adding some new CG scenes to the movies, like George Lucas did to the original Star Wars Trilogy. Some of those new scenes sucked.

I've heard that alot of the deleted scenes had little to no audio to them. In a few you can hear the actor's in the suits voices shout out their lines to get the movements and timing down. I think i read that on a Laird interview somewhere...

Well thats makes it much more difficult... They would have to re hire the old cast, and I doubt that will ever happen.

Judith Hoag and Elias Koteas, sure. But I don't see why there would be any problem getting the voice actors back, unless they all decided to smoke their voices out.. Anyway, the voice actors that I've heard more recently don't sound any different from the way they did back in the day.

NOT TO MENTION, the voice actors don't seem to be doin' much with themselves these days.. It wouldn't hurt them at all to capitalize on this TMNT resurgance!
