Do you think the TMNT franchise has deep lore?

While TMNT lore is nowhere as extensive as DC or Marvel superheroes, Star Wars, Star Trek, or "anime," do you think the TMNT franchise has good lore?

The origin of Saki/Yoshi, the history of mutagen, the aliens like Utroms/Triceratons, the various backstories, etc?

For a franchise that originally started off as an independent comic book series, definitely.

Considering the franchise has gone through so many different incarnations within just 3 decades, I'd say so.
