Does anyone know if it still exists?

every now and then I will do google searches for Chuck Loore and Dennis Brown.
Sadly, nothing concrete ever comes up. I think once I found a contact form for one at an out dated website, but never got a return response.

Looks like someone already found them, and I assume it's someone here, heh.
But sadly, if they knew there was an interest in the music being released 4 years ago at least, you'd think something would have leaked by now if he had it.

so, that begs to differ...where is it now?

With all the resources of Nick, you'd think they'd find out for a sure fire hit.

Chuck Lorre is too high-profile, what with being a showrunner for Big Bang Theory et al., to respond to an email asking about something he did thirty years ago.

The music may not even be available digitally. Or it might not even exist. I'm sure the best that's immediately available are M&E mixes for the episodes, for foreign dubs. :ohwell:

And of course, they don't own the rights to the music. So that complicates things further.

I shared this in the "Should there be an OST?" thread, but I don't think it got much notice.

I read a comment on YouTube that the Technodrome theme came from a sound patch from the Roland D50 synthesizer called "Sweep Loop on C." It can be found on this website as an MP3 at the very bottom of the page.

I think it is possible for the soundtrack to be recreated, especially if that synthesizer was the one that was originally used to record it.

This isn't something that'll just leak one day. As far as I know this was before the days of promo tapes/CDs, and in the end, if it ever sees the light of day, it'll have to be a company like La-La Land that does the deed.

I once received the M&E mixes of a couple episodes from this series, but I think it was upmixed mono, and SFX were everywhere. Essentially useless.

Yep, I saw that.

I wonder how close one could get if we had the original synthesizer used...and someone with a musical ear..

some of the recreations I've heard may sound close, but because it's a different synthesizer, don't sound right at all.

The Thundercats series got a soundtrack leak for most of the first seasons music. It's around if you know where to look/

The He-Man series also had a release where music was from the effects track. And because there where so little effects, or just plain classic effects, it was rather cool.

I'd love to hear one track from that.

Well, anything's possible. But if anyone here had access to Liongate's underground lair, with all the music tapes, and wanted to post them here, they'd probably have done it already. :P We just need to keep being patient.

The problem of doing that is that someone will always mess up trying to recreate the music. Some years ago you could download the soundtrack to various recreated Star Trek video game music recreated by this freelancer hired by CBS. The results were mixed mainly because he was doing a copy. You could only ever recreate the Ninja Turtles soundtrack music if you had the music sheets. Doing it from memory or copying from an episode filled with dialogue that drowns out the music produces too many inaccuracies.

I found a video that shows some tracks of the show but each track is kind of short and goes by quickly. I'll post it later when I'm not on my phone
