They show almost every incarnation of TMNT including the videogames, but unfortunately they didn't include the IDW Turtles. Which is odd since they included the recently released Mutants in Manhattan videogame which is based on the IDW designs.

Also the writer gets something wrong, he says the 2007 CG movie and the Nick cartoon are related because they're both CG, even though that's completely untrue as they're different continuities made by completely different people.

I guess the reason they ignored the IDW comics is because Dan Duncan does not draw like Sophie Campbell, who does not draw like Ben Bates, who does not draw like Andy Kuhn, who does not draw like Mateus Santolouco, who does not draw like Michael Dialynas, who does not draw like Ken Garing, who does not draw like Mike Henderson, who does not draw like Cory Smith, who does not draw like Irene Koh, who does not draw like Dan Schoening, who does not draw like Franco Urru, who does not draw like Valerio Schiti, who does not draw like Marley Zarcone, who does not draw like Paul McCaffrey, who does not draw like...

They didn't word it well, but I took it as simply referring to continuing the concept of being CGI, not being a continuation.

They'd have to be pretty blind to think it was, considering 2012 started over from the beginning.

For Mirage Turtles they just showed the original Eastman/Laird designs despite Jim Lawson's Mirage Turtles and all the other artists looking different.

For IDW they could have simply shown a single cover just to represent the series.

random question. I've read the Mirage comics in volumes 1, 2, and 4 but never 3. Apparently Leo loses a hand, Raph get's part of his face blasted (I saw a pic of that) and Donnie becomes a cyborg in it, all to become non canon. My question is, how did these happen and does anybody have pictures of them happening and what they clearly looked like after

I found an old comic (Image?) where Donnie "died" - what's left was his shell. The three brothers built a grave for him and I can see Raph with a scarred face then wearing his mask. Mikey cried.

In another place, Donnie woke up and was shocked that he's now a cyborg.

I have no idea what happened before and after that lol.

Oh, you people... we have the internet, it's the simplest thing to find out about Image Volume 3. :trazz:

http://tmntentity.blogspot.com/2009/12/image-comics.html

There, synopses and reviews for all 25 issues (1-23 published by Image, 24 and 25 by our very own Andrew Modeen with Gary Carlson). Plenty of pictures, too.

Dig in! :tcool:

"Old comic?"

That comic came out in 1997. How is that, "old?"

It was in a book shop among other used/old comics. I don't know the year but it's pretty run down.

Cheers. Wow there's 2 "unofficial" comics, pretty nice effort there by the fans.

People born in 1997 is old enough to drink alcohol.

This makes me feel old. When I think of people born in 1997 I think of little babies.

Did you find comics from the mid 70s old in the mid 90s? because that's basically the equivalent.

The 70's was like ancient, man, even in the 90's.

But the 90's and early 2000's, its not THAT old. C'mon, we're not old fogey's. We're not, we're not!

Why is it that when I deep search things, the vaguest results come up. Whilst for others, they normal search things and BAM! its in their face
