Chibi TMNT RPG

I decided that it's time to do an RPG that's a little less serious and a lot more fun. So here it is:

The Turtles are going to explore the sewers surrounding their lair alone for the first time. Wait, the first time?!? Yes, this take places when the Turtles are about eight years old, in size and development. (Think the flashbacks from Tales of Leo, though I had this idea months before that episode aired.)

Splinter is allowing the Turtles to go out on their own. They think it's gonna be fun, and have no idea that Splinter has actually planned this as a training exercise, to test their skills without them being aware of it. I will play Splinter, as he's like the Game Master, setting obstacles but making sure no one gets hurt. He's also the only adult in the game.

Original characters are allowed, but they must also be approximately eight years old. Some OC's have already been declared: Azure, Machias, Kameko, and Kali. If your OC already has a history with the TMNT, as I know a few do, please specify this when claiming the character so other players are aware. As far as I know, no other characters, aside from Splinter have been claimed. And keep in mind, there will be no real villains in this RP.

So make your claims, so we can start as soon as I get back from out of town, at the beginning of next week.

Anyway. I decided to put this up now because I'm gonna be away from a computer (I think...) from Thursday night to Sunday evening. So on Sunday evening/Monday morning I'll "start" the thing by having Splinter send the boys (and girls) off. Hopefully this'll give people time to check this out and decide who they wanna play.

There is really no limit to the number of characters one can play, as long as it doesn't get confusing. Any Turtles not claimed by the start will be temporarily public characters until claimed.

Kya has claimed Donnie, and Jo Dawn just took Leo. That means little Raphie and Mikey are relatively free domain until someone claims them. Everyone else has their own characters, but remember that that doesn't mean that people can't have more than one character.

That said, let's start this thing!

Splinter stood before his students... his children, as they stood at attention before him. They all knew that something important was going on, but none of them knew what.

"My students, today is a milestone in your lives. I believe you are all old enough to explore without my supervision." He saw all their little eyes light up. "However, all rules are still there. Do not leave the perimeter I have already set up for you and do NOT, under any circumstances, go up to the surface. Be careful, and watch out of each other." He nodded firmly to indicate that he was finished.

((Notice I didn't indicate names, or even a number of students, because I still wasn't sure how many of you there are in the beginning of this. Remember to alert other players of you character's relationship to the Turtles, or don't be upset when they don't know. :P ))

Don was already making tracks back to his room. not the room he shared with his brothers, but the room that he piled all his "junk" in... Don mumbled to himself, counting out in his head all the supplies he'd need or want...

jars for collecting samples, a water bottle, his googles, a flashlight, his notepad and something to write with....

Don could hear his siblings making a ruckus back in the main room, but his mind was already on packing and preparing...

This would be his chance to REALLY see what all was out there, not just to tag along on one of Splinter's errands... the only thing he'd HAVE to do would be whatever he wanted: exploration and detailed analysis!

after all... if the ooze that created them had been just laying around in the sewers, who KNOWS what he'll find if given the chance to hunt for it!

Leo sat patiently in his room, waiting for everyone to get ready to go. The thought that Master Splinter was letting them go out on their own made him feel both excited and wary.

Without Splinter there, he knew, he just knew they were all going to run wild. He had to show Master Splinter that he could keep them all in one piece until they got back.

On the other hand, he did also want to explore a bit more than they usually did.

Maturely and cautiously, of course...

A young fox-morph wandered through the sewers, quietly sniffling to herself. Her tattered overalls were caked with mud, leaves and twigs were stuck in her red tailfur, and her shoulder length hair was in a tangeled mess.
i feel like Goldilocks, she thought, wiping snot from her muzzle.
"I sorry, Mama" she said to herself. "I didn't mean ta get losted....I wanna go home...."
She found a small hole in the wall, a sealed off pipe that had a pile of leaves in it. She climbed into the pipe, finding it mostly dry and free of rats. The little fox curled into a ball sna cried herself into a fitful sleep.

Raphael stood near the front door, tapping his foot impatiently. "Can we go already?"

((BTW, I should warn you guys that among the "obstacles" that Splinter has set up, there are trips wires, false floors, and a few other goodies. These may spring at any time, so be very careful. :evilgrin: ))

Don called out from the other room, " In a MOMENT!" There's lots of clanking and thudding from in there. He's busy searching for his tape measure. You can't be an accurate cartographer without an understanding of scale.

[Kameko]

Kameko ran toward the door, bandana tails flying behind her, then came to a dead stop next to Raph. Mimicing his pose and expression, right down to tapping her foot, she 'copycat'-ed his tone:

"Yeah, can we go already?"

Don's debating how many of what kinds of "sample jars" he can fit into his duffle bag. He's wrapped up in sorting through his collection: old mayo, spaghetti, jelly, or baby food jars, all washed out thoroughly and ready to go. If there was mutagen in the sewer once there could be again... or OTHER chemical compounds that would merit scrutiny...

He doesn't even register Kameko's words. His family's ALWAYS making noises. You learn to filter them out.

Being small was a great help to the seven year old bi-eyed turtle as she found herself able to slip - barely - through the gap between the grate and the cement of the drain in order to, once again, escape those pesky humans. Funny that just a year ago she was one of them. The girl landed on her clumbsily onto her feet only to topple over one her side. She groaned and righted herself and hurried out of view of anyone who might try to look down the street drain. She hurried on for only a few minutes, moving from one tunnel to another until out of exhaustin she stopped and looked at her knee.

The girl still wasn't sure how she had lost the rest of the troup, but she was sure they were going to be really mad with her. Her dark blue slacks were dirty and one of the knees were torn up to reveal a pretty bad scrape, her light blue shirt which had once been nicely pressed and tucked in was now wrinkled and partly pulled out. The girl's last name was still clipped onto right side of the chest of the small uniform and her usually neat black shoes looked as if they were had never been shined a day in thier life. Yes, her troup leader, Topaz, was going to be furious. She reached up to her head and let out another groan. She had lost her hat somewhere too. wonderful.

Leo sighed, and stood up. He could hear Raph, and now Kameko, getting antsy to head out. And, as apprehensive as he was about this, he still really wanted to go. And if it got too late, Master Splinter wouldn't let them go. He left his room, and knocked lightly on Don's door.

"C'mon, Donnie." He called to his brother. "Let's get going before I let Raph and Kameko come and get you."

Then Leo went and sat on the couch, picking up a book. This could be a long wait...

donatello looked up and nodded, "sure thing leo..." but he dived right back in. this was IMPORTANT. and he wasn't taking THAT long.

Kameko gave up mocking Raphael to whine over her shoulder at her slowpoke brother.

"C'MON, Donny!! Let's GO already! You always take too long!"

She turned to Raph with a scowl.

She then turned around so she was facing into the lair, in the general direction of where Donny was apparantly still gathering his so-called 'supplies'. Honestly, her brother was so weird.

"I'M GONNA DRAG YOU OUT BY YER BANDANA, DONA-SMELLO!!"

Hearing the "Dona-Smello" Mars poked her head into the room in curiousity and said a simple: "Uh....Hi?" She then looked around the almost familiar place. "...I think I've seen this place before...."

Randi walks slowly down the sewer tunnel feeling utterly lost and... lost. She still can't believ she lost her radio. She feels something fall on her neck and scurry across the back of it. She reaches up, grabs it, and stares at it.

"AHHHH!"

She throws the cockroach at the wall and backs up against the opposite wall.

"Sergeant Marx!? Sergeant Maddox?? ANYONE!?"

Leo looks up from his book, and notices he's now being used as a shield. He sighs as he hears Mikey and Kame's traded comments.

"Guys, if Master Splinter hears you fight, he might get mad, then we won't be able to go..."

Leo glances back at Azure, then looks back at the door and sees Mars. He quickly glanced back at Splinter's door. If Splinter knew he'd just let people walk right into their home...

He walked quickly up to Mars. He looked at his brother. "Mikey, stop smelling the poor girl. And leave Kameko alone. Go try and pry Donnie out of his room. " Then he turned to Mars. "Um, hi..."

*Mikey gave Kame a confused look. Then he lifted his arms and started to sniff himself*
Mikey: I don't smell that bad, do I?
Raph: You smell like feet. :evilgrin:
Mikey: HA. HA. :razz:
*He turns to Leo and nods*
Mikey: Leave it to me! I'll go drag that brainiac out of his room.
*Mikey runs back to Donny's room, and starts knocking on the door*

*Azure tagged behind Leo, following very closely, and hiding from the strange girl. He peaked out from behind Leo's shell, watching her every move*

"Sergeant Marx!? Sergeant Maddox?? ANYONE!?"

The voice came from the same direction as the scream. it sounded like a kid's voice.... Mama Janey had told her to never talk to strange grown-ups, but she never said anything about strange kids. Besides... maybe the other kid was lost too and they could both help eachother out...

Summoning all her courage, Turkituck called out:

"HEEELLOOO!?!?!? ARE YOU LOSTED, TOO?!?! "

"YER AN AMINAL LIKE ME!!!!" She looked closely at Miranda's face. " But yer not a foxy... What are you?"

Mama Janey and the others found me inna dumpster when I was a baby. And I'm a fox, but I also gots 'tractable claws, see?" Turk flexed her paw and unsheathed her small, yet sharp claws.

Splinter blinked. He certainly didn't remember another turtle in the group. And he was fairly surprised that this child would remember the event anyway. However, with no way to prove, or disprove Mars' claim, he humored it. "Very interesting. Since you are a part of this family, then, would you like to join my other students on their trip?"

Leo sighed, looking back at Splinter.

"Master Splinter..." Leo began, about to protest another addition to their trip. He just kept thinking that this girl was one more person he had to watch over. He eyed her suspiciously, then closed his mouth.

He had to admit, the fact that the girl showed absolutely no fear around Splinter, or was surprised about any of them, made him want to believe her. She did look like them, after all... Maybe having her around would actually help him...

He sighed again, rubbing his head. What in the world was taking the rest of them so long?

"I unfortunately cannot..." Mars sighed, then turning to leave. "...I must get back to my studies and continue with my training. If I get a chance to come by again, I will." She then bowed quickly and walked out of the room back down to her home where her door stood open. "That's funny..." She said to herself as she opened the door. "...didn't I CLOSE that? Huh."

Morty slipped into the dirty water, after a two second count to control his anger he gets out, not one bit wet. "itsa good thing my mommy taught me how to do quick dry." Walks along the tunnel, coming face-to-face with a blue turtle and a young girl.
"er...hallo?"

The two lost children walked in silence for a while until Randi finally said, "D'dya hear that?" When she recieved no reply, the bi-eyed turtle looked around, "Hello? Turkituck?"

The Fox-like girl was no where to be seen. This was just wonderful. Now Randi was alone again. Frowning, she decided she needed to move on anyways. What if all those rumors about some sort of scary reptile in the sewers were true?

"Hallo, can you tell me the way to...um...the mall?" he manages.

"Hey, what the heck?" Mikey moved out of the way to avoid a collision. He approached Kame, Raph, and the stranger to see what all the fuss was about. "What's going on, sis?" he asked Kame.

Don smiled at Leo's offer. "Thanks Leo, but I think I'll be all right." He knew Leo was the most trustworthy of his brothers, but Donny feared losing or breaking any of the "equipment" he managed to stuff into the duffle bag. "Maybe when I gather stuff into the jars, then you can help me out."

He peeked his head out to see Mike, Raph and Kame talking to... another human?!

Leo took a step out towards the group. "Who're you?" He asked the boy, crossing his arms.

Her cries echoed down the tunnels.

"Aaaeh!.. raph? How dare you little.. hisssssss. I'll kill you for that!" Raph ran down the sewer laughing as he bounced through the flowing water.
"Well, that's raphaell. And master splinter is our.. trainer. We call him 'master' or 'sensei' out of respect."

Casting a shadow on the wall, Mars tossed a basketball against a wall, and tossed it...and tossed it....and tossed it. Sighing, she caught the ball, spun it in mid-air and rested it by her foot. Adjusting the cloth of her black mask, she glanced at her shadow on the wall and picked up the ball. "Such a happy shadow..." She sighed. "...not a care in the world..." She then shook her head and went back to tossing the basketball against the wall continuously.

Splinter snuck out through another exit of the lair, and was now watching the children from a few meters down the tunnel. He wondered how these newcomers would effect the training, but maybe it was for the best. His sons needed to learn how to keep other, untrained individuals out of harm's way.

She landed on her tail with a loud "OOF!" She grabbed onto Randi's leg with her good arm and hid her face, whimpering. "iwannagohomeiwannagohomeiwannagohome...."


The giant gator slowly slipped into the deep and murky water. It's old and blind eyes were of little use in the dark, but it's sense of smell and hearing were un-naturally keen.....It had heard the voices and screams and knew that if it waited long enough, they would lead him to his dinner...and their demise....

Mars sighed as she then leaned against the wall in the sewer studying her book. "I know I'm supposed to know all of this for when I get older...." She sighed, rubbing her head. "...but my brain hurts too much....ow!!!...." Mars then suddenly straightened up at a shadow of a giant gator slipping down the sewer. "THIS I can do!" She smirked, grabbing the book and following the gator.

Morty stares back towards the entrance as he heard the scream, "will they be alright?"

Kenai sent Michaelangelo to get donatello.
"Tell him dat she's got a cut arm and a pwetty badwy bwuised leg." she called as he turned the corner.

Randi wasn't all that better off. Her uniform now a complete mess, she had also twisted her ankle in the collision and had been spending the last few moments rubbing it. (ooc: note, I usually only use Randi... my avatar is her adult picture) She looked up to watch one young boy mutant turtle leave as the other two stayed. She could tell right off the bat that Kenai was a different colour than the other two - but other than that, she could see no real difference.

"Back there.... Al'gator... Hungry..." She muttered and then looked to Raphael adding: "Boku desu..."

Heck knows it wasn't through a closed man hole though! Those things are just too heavy for a little 6 year old mutant turtle, even if she was skilled in streangth. Her master had warned her not to run off, but you know how kids and curiosity are...

Thus off she went into the aligator inhabitted sewers to see what all the screaming was about. Thus, she too, enters the scene, only from some other direction and without crashing into other people. Goodness this is turning into quite the turtle convention 'eh? The small turtle in her oversized grey sweater with hood and oversized jeans must look quite the sight. Cute? Funny? That depends on the eye of the beholder, now doesn't it?

However, upon seeing more turtles, she seems surprised enough that she pushes her hood back to make sure she's seeing right. "Eeeeh," she maganges questioningly as she rubs at her blue eyes, which have a grey bandanna framing them and wrapping around her head, "I think 'ms still 'sleep..."

Megumi blinks again and looks around. "I heard screaming...why the screaming," she asked concernedly, "Is everyone ok?" She looks over all the others and shakes her head. "I aint gonna say I's alone again...ever..." she mutters to herself about seeing the other turtles around. After a moment the girl with the red stripes on her head adds to her earlier questions, "Anything I can help with?"

"Well, not weally. Mikey's gettin master... and i dunno where leo, sensei, or morty are." she replied. She then looked down at the other turtle. She was on the floor, watching their conversation. "Maybe you could help her....?"

Stacey tucked a strand of purple hair behind her ear and smiled toothily.

At that moment, the ancient, blind gator surged out of the murky sludge onto the tunnel floor. He was nearly 15 feet long, milky white and totally blind. His hearing was superb and he also posessed a mild sixth sense, enabling him to track his prey..... He knew there were many small moving-food beasts, but htey were much larger thant he rats and occaisional humans he'd eaten before...

He opened his huge mouth and let out a loud growling hiss int he general direction of the voices..... He surged forward.

Hearing the loud hiss, Mars then tightened her muscles and leapt up on the back of the alligator and held on for dear life as he thrashed madly.
"EEEEYYEEEAAAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She roared, wrapping her arms around the gator's neck and letting out a loud whoop. "....YEEHAW!! Ride 'em, cowgirl! Whoa-oh-WHOA!!" She then was tossed off the gator and he then forgot about the others and set his sense on her. "Ow...."

Kenai stared at the large unconsious gator in pure terror. She had always been afraid of gators, always. She scanned the ground and came upon mars, lying on the ground. She gasped. "Mars! Are you all right?"

The little fox's eye went huge at the scene before her. She screamed again as the gator woke up, shook it's huge head and started moving towards her.

"RAANDII!!!!!! MAMA!!!MAMA!!!! HEEEELLPP!!!!"

Cradling her arm close to her chest, Turkituck scrambled across the ground, trying to find an escape tunnel. The gator lumbered closer and closer, zeroing in on her terrified scent.

Kenai turned around as she heard turk scream. Behind her was the aligator, awake and cornering Turk. "AAAHHH!!" she screamed. Even if it wasn't coming near her, she was still scared. But Turk was in danger. She pulled out her ocarina, and played the sun song as fast as she could, turning the notes to cut time. As she finished the song the ground began to shake. Suddenly, the gator froze in its position.

[Mars-Chan]

Shaking her head, Mars glanced up at the frozen gator. "Dude..." She said, walking over to it and looking it over, then glancing at Kenai with raised eyeridges. "....Kenai, how the SHELL did you do that?! I couldn't even tame him for one second!"

"Mars, I wouldn'ts gets to close ta him! He'll come back ta living ifs you does!" cried kenai. "But, it's ancient magic.. nah.. you wouldn't believes me... :cry: I've been handled down 'dis magic of the ocaweena of time.. and I use-ed the ocaweena to send light, sun light into his dark soul!
