Image Comic Find

Me and Mike were walking through the mall and we went into the comic store for a look and he bought some stuff and we left but we went into this convience store and were looking at magazines then we saw that comics were 15 % off so we looked at what they had and behind Archie Comics there was these 3 Image comics. I ain't a big collector of comics but when i see something with TMNT on it I have to buy it! Very cool comics. Issue 16,20,21. Here they are:

Yeah that was cool! Considering we haven't been able to find ONE Turtles comic in our area that was made before 2001-2002. I manged to score 3 (Mirage Vol 1. Issues 2,9, Leonardo One Shot) of E-Bay at a nice price. Other than that I can't find a thing!

I never read image, and I'm glad i didnt. I dont think I could handle seeing the guys screwed all to hell, and Splinter being turned into a rabid bat... :cry:

Yeah I just read the 16 and him being a bat is kind of weird and he thinks the turtles are demons but I kind of like the story. And I wanted it because it has TMNT on the name. Raph being shredder since the real shredder is presumed dead. And donny body armor. A quote from the book just made me stare at it for a while. "IN the theatre is where shredder is holding Raph and Splinter....I remember this theatre.......where we snuck into to see pornos" :lol: Never knew they were in to that. :lol:

Thats why I really do't like Image. It's supposed to continue Mirage storyline, but characters just doesn't feel the same.

That ain't body armor on Don. He's been turned into a real living, breathing cyborg. (which.. I thought was cool...) But yeah, that comic is very mature in content at times. Very high on the babe factor. :roll:

Oh it was the first one I read of it. I thought it was just armor because when they go into the mind of splinter to try and turn him into a rat again he doesnt have it on so I thought it was armor. Interesting. I wish I had the one after 16 I am going to read 20 now because in 16 Raph stabs the bat with his sai and then splinter turns back into a rat but Raph is holding him and he seems to be dying.

Yeah Mike we should go! That would be so cool! Find some more interesting stuff there and buy some wicked TMNT stuff! When or what is the thread for this information?

Pimiko knocked him and one of her cyborg soldiers out of a helicopter she was flying. The two fall a really long way, hit the ground hard in the alley way. Don was not a pretty site since his shell was cracked and he was bleeding pretty bad internally. The Cyborg's body was messed up too, so it's AI unit made like a parasite and fused it's metal self with Don. Thus, the two become one, it makes Don better, and he gets up looking like that cybernetic turtle.

But Don's also got that cyborg AI in his head, fighting with his 'passive' ideas. Thus, you get a case of Dr. Heckle / Mr. Hyde. Casey and his brothers find out the hard way it's not a good idea to provoke the fiesty cyborg within Don. :wink:

Yea...I always thought the Image idea of the turtle world was at least intersting...even if its not something i exactly agree with i thinks its kinda neat to see the turtles in another light...

I had the majority of the Image comics but they were not the same as the Mirage issues.

I enjoy Issue 20 and 21 where they get Raph(Shredder) and his soldiers and Casey and Mike and Leo and they kick Triceraton butt! Great issue and I like the TMNT and Casey drawings. I think it is a good story might not be the real TMNT but still interesting and cool.
