Okay... I already know about how we can't upload our own avatars Krang, you've explained this to me about a year ago, so I won't even bother. :lol: But perhaps there are a few other things we can do. It seems the custom title is of no availability to us, but what about the Quick Reply box below the thread page? I've seen many message boards with this feature, and it makes things easier, rather than waiting on the Post Reply page to load up. But that's actually a concern for modem users. I know there are a lot of them around, because I was formely one. Let's help out those modem users!

Are you saying that its like the page where you type in your reply but at the bottom of the page? That would be pretty cool because you are able to refer to a picture or something that is in somebody's post.

Well... the problem is you'll have to manually use vB code. But it's simple if you just take a look. Unless he's able to add the vB code menu along with the Quick reply box. I've seen it on another message board, which was a first for me. But I believe that board is powered by a waaay advanced version of phpBB. But I believe the version we're powered by, now shouldn't be much of a problem.

Maybe, but only if enough people would use it since it will slow down the most used script on the forums.

Trust me... I think Quick Reply boxes would be a time-saver. Especially for modem users, because I remembered those pages would take a long while to load, especially if a lot of people were on the board. And Saturday mornings, in particular, will be flooded with guests and members to drop their input.

One of my regular phpbb haunts has quick reply, and it is really handy. It's especially helpful in games (WAG, the role-pllays, etc). In fact, I've gotten to like it so much that I keep forgetting that this board doesn't have it. :lol:

I think it's a great idea, Krang. But that's just my opinion. :D

HAHAHA... Same here. I always scroll down to type in, and there's no box. Without the box, we are not whole. Make us whole Krang, make us whoooole!

I have never heard about this before. What exactly does it do? Allows you to post faster? Does it count towards your post count?

Basically. when you load a thread at the bottom will be a box that you type your response in to. So you don't have to hit reply or anything like that.
It's pretty handy.

I don't think a Quick New Topic Box exists. It would kinda be a bad idea, seeing that there would be too many text boxes, and a huge lump of confusion to go with it. Quick Reply Box is the only necessity really needed.

Amen to that! Go Krang! Yeah Quick Reply boxes would make posting easier. I just found a mesage baord for wrestling that has it and it's very convenient.
