i wish they would do a TMNT RPG game sorta like "MARIO rpg". ... alot of you probably would disagree but i think it would be awsum. just think how you could level up your ninja abilities.
If it was to every work "mario rpg" wouldn't be the rpg to base the game on, "Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic" would be a much better example to base the game on.

well i didnt play that star wars one, but i was just giving an example. any rpg style as long as you could see characters before you fought them (unlike final fantasy).

you can, but its still a beat em' up game. i kinda want a stealth game/RPG though. i thought maybe more people would have wanted this, but their realy into the arcade style stuff. i still dont see the joy in beat-em ups though...maybe yaw see something i dont.

What... you think this will be the ONLY TMNT game? I doubt it... unless it turns out to be really crappy, which I don't think it will. RPG or stealth might be cool, if they did it right.

Sounds interesting EZ I will have to agree with you. That would be interesting style. But for RPGing how would they attack? There wont be anything to us to attack only like kick punch and use weapons. But it would be cool!

There's only one problem with this. It would most likely be based on the new show and in the new show, in case you haven't noticed, they don't kill their opponents. And plaus a turn based fighting mode would not work out so they would have to go to the beat 'em up style in order to have good fights.

well let them use beat-em up , but i would love the stealth stuff added in.

It'll never happen...and honestly I don't think it would work either.

I think an RPG could work but you'd have to give each turtle a magic element or something and have a bigger story than just having to be stealthy and stay underground which would be kinda hard. Turn based fighting is no problem...final fantasy 7 was a great game and people never questioned why enemies weren't killed instantly by a gunshot or sword blow.
Some guy in the fan works section made a thread (called 'TMNT Meets Final Fantasy' I think)about altering the original final fantasy on the NES to a turtles one but he hasn't worked on it in a while

if you did a rpg style untill you get into a fight then it goes into combat mode and you fight like in any other fighting game, now that would be cool.

An RPG/stealth type game would never work unless it was based on the Mirage comics, which isn't likely to happen.

^^ Exactly what heretic said. If they ever plan to base it on the Mirage comics, a stealth mode would be perfect. Otherwise, I suggest a Zelda: A Link to the Past style, roaming through Manhattan and going from building to building, destroying enemy after enemy just to get more items to get to Shredder's lair. If not that, then I suggest the style of Ninja: Shadow of Darkness.

I would personally love to see a Mirage-based, Tenchu-style game for the TMNT..... but the chances of that happening is about the chances of Al Sharpton becoming president.

Dang... I was going to vote for him in the next election. Thanks for smashing my dreams of the White House being painted black. But yeah, I would really like to see a Ninja Turtle game rated M, and I'd definitely like to see them go toe-to-toe with Cervanti Romero.
