This sucks... I try the demo out, and after it goes through the whole Konami intro about Rated E and the developers and whatnot, the application automatically shuts off, preventing me from playing the demo. :( I'm not feeling too happy, and it's a shame because I've met all requirements!

Try Re-Installing Direct X 9, then re-booting your computer. I've heard other people say that helps.

I've tried installing the Demo and DirectX 9.0b again and again and restarting my computer again and again and it still doesn't work.

Welp, re-installed DirectX 9.0b, rebooted the computer, ran the application... and yet again, it closed on me. I doubt it's the RAM too, because I upgraded the RAM not too long ago. This thing just doesn't want to work for me.

There has to be another problem here we aren't seeing

And everyone else is saying it's not working. Either that demo disc wasn't ripped correctly, or this is some scam of Konami to make you think you'll get a taste of the meal. But the failure makes you want to see the game more... and that makes you pay up quicker.

But then again, it could be that this demo is just screwed-up. :ohwell:

holy sh**, this game is badass. I think there are 3 levels, I only got to 3. Theres a street level, a level at stockmans lab, where you get to face the giant mouser robot, and then in the next level is the nanobot level. The only problem I have with the game is the camera angles. They arent bad all the time, sometimes its hard to see everything. And in the street level there are only two different purple dragon guys and some mousers. I love the mouser sounds. And leo doesnt say the same thing all the time, but after awhile it gets repetative, but it could be different when the game comes out *shrug* There are pizzas and soda to raise health, and attack/speed boosters(only temporarily). Its kinda hard with a keyboard, but its fun anyway. This game is going to be oh so sweet and Im glad I preorder already.

And it plays with a great framerate and high graphics

Thanks again stone for sending me a copy. Mine worked fine. Well for some reason it wouldnt install DirectX But if you search for the 9.0b in yahoo it will get you to the direct site and then you open it and install. It then worked for me. Very cool game. Since its on computer it might be a bit weird controlling so I cant wait till I it on PS2 where I can play it on a controller. Unless I can find my controller for my old comp. It must be here somewhere.

HOLY FREAK'N SHELL THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!!

Now that I got that out of my system. It works just fine (a little slow down at times) on my Laptop which has a Pentium 4 (only P3 is required to play), Windows XP, and the newest Direct X (which I downloaded before hand). If you got Direct X and the demo at the same time and installed them one after the other chances are that your PC just needs to be restarted before the game will work. If you change your Direct X then Windows will have to change it by shutting down and configuring the files (which it does with no fuss, just restart your PC and baddah boom!).

A HUGE thanks to Jason for sending it to me. He's my hero right now. I wish you can play as Mike but three levels with Leo ain't bad at all. Infact it's UBER AWESOME!!! I wanted to check out the game before I went to the effort of buying a new console and the game on it's release date (I don't own a PS2, Xbox, or GCN). And now that I've tried I'm certain its worth the money. I can't wait to play it on GCN (with a controller) and with a second player just like the good old days. I'm certain my cousin and I will be playing this game non-stop.

They really tried to make it look like the cartoon, which kinda makes the character select and menu screens (and title screen) look like someone made them on Flash but if the gameplay is awesome then I don't really care about that kind of stuff, but they sure do make it obvious that you are playing a kids game.

I got the demo off the site and it worked great, well almost i had to download it twice the first time the instillation file was corrupt. Maybe you guys should try that.
