Ive picked up a few mirage comics and I like them a lot. I see the technodrome has a section but it doesnt have a lot about them. I have a few questions I hope you can answer........
-Is the mirage comic still going, becuase I saw a mirage comic at the comic store the other day???? I thought they stoped making them.
-How many issues/volumes are there?
-Is there a place online where I can get them, besides ebay?
-When do they start coming in color?
-Is there anything else I should know?
Thanks guys, help is very appreciated!!!!

New issues come out every other month. We're into vol. 4 now, issue 12 just came out.
How many issues/volumes are there?
Not sure how many issues total, but there are 4 volumes (with volume 3 done by Image, and it's not really canon, I think)
Is there a place online where I can get them, besides ebay?
We have a buy/sell/trade here, but other than that, I doubt it.
When do they start coming in color?
Never.

Volume 3 (not in continuity): 23 issues

Plus 7 issues of Tales of TMNT, 4 one-shots spotlighting each Turtle and some other short series. Check out the official site for more info.

I usually go to my local comic store and they know what I am after when I go in there. They are helping me find a copy of Shell Shocked.

OK, so volume 3 isnt done by mirage?? Ans volume 3 isnt a continuity of vol. 1 and 2, but does volume four continue where volume 2 left off?? Scienctific freak: I would try a comic store but there isnt one where I live, nor anywhere near me for that matter, and it sucks, I WANT A COMIC STORE!!!!!!!!!!! :x

Here's the list of issues that Peter Laird regards as official continuity (ie: the actual story of the TMNT):
TMNT Volume 1: #1-7, Issue #8 will be retold later this year, 9-15, 17, 19-21, 27-29, 45-62
Microseries: Raphael, Fugitoid, Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo
Tales of the TMNT Volume 1: #1-7
TMNT Voume 2: #1-13
TMNT Volume 4: #1-12 (ongoing)
Tales of the TMNT Volume 2: Coming Soon
This is the official list as of now but Laird may still add a few short stories from "Shell Shock", "Grunts", or "Turtle Soup: Volume 1 or 2". He may also choose to add the Gizmo & Fugitoid 2 issue crossover. Otherwise, here is the story of the TMNT!
I'm not saying that it will be easy to find all of these (God knows it took me about 5 months just to finish the last 10 or so issues) but collected books are available. Good Luck.

vol. 3 picks up where vol. 2 left off for the most part. but when peter laird starting doing mirage again, he decided to ignore what image did in vol. 3, so yes, vol. 4 picks up after vol. 2

I think that was a good choice. Don't get me wrong I kind of like the Image comics. But still. To continue from it would not be right. I really need to get some Mirage comics I dont own one. I have read a few but I want to get a few somewhere. Maybe at a comic store somewhere.
