I know some of you have paid lots and lots of Dollars for their Mirage collection and I always wanted to have all the books, too. But since I live in Germany it's hard to get them and also very expensive.
Try to imagine how I felt like when I found this on ebay.de:

And the starting bid was 19€!!! What can I say, I won the auction for the ridiculous amount of 60€ (about 70$) + 8€ shipping. Today I got them and nearly all of them are in excellent condition.

The Euro is worth about $1.15, and it's on the rise. So 60€ is worth about 70$US.
*grumbles about the state of the exchange rate, being an American in Germany*

Heh... well, I guess since you're in Europe, that's a deal. Not so much of one in the States, especially since the older reprints of the first few Mirage comics can be found for a couple bucks at many places. :P

In near mint condition, I paid about 30$ for the first 10 issues, and about 2$ per piece for the rest. Some specials were little more expensive tough.

apparently people like me and karpo bought our colleciton the expensive way hehe. i bought most of mine from milehigh and mycomicshop, with some of the earliest ones of off ebay. and i think they were worth every penny =)

grats on the find tho man!

I got half of mine from ninjaturtles.com and half of it from my local comic store.

It was on ebay.de, where only a few people care about the original Ninja Turtles! :D

I think I payed about 700 SEK for Collected Books 1-7 (around 75 dollars) and then between 20-30 (2-3 $) per issue for the vol 1 comics that's not reprinted in the books, plus Tales and some more various comics.

You found a great deal! :D The best comic deal I've found was a lot of 114 Archie TMNT comics for $35 including shipping. I was really lucky that day. :)
