Okay...
I know a lot of you folks are really excited about the new games, but we're getting WAY too many double/triple threads of the same topics.
therefore....
What I'm going to do is try and splice some of the other threads into this, and have one official thread for the games. This way, you dont have to search willy-nilly for codes in a dozen different threads.
It might seem as a pain to some, but I believe having all the codes and such together will be beneficial to all you gamers.... ;)

First one (LSMMS) is bonus course 1
Second one (SSLDM) is unlimited shuriken for leo
Go to http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/gamecube/code/35541.html for a whole ton of cheats for the gamecube version ;)
Which leads me to my next question... do these cheats work for the PS2 version as well? Thanks!

Hi, Just wondering what Enemies there are, what types, veriations ect.
List the enemies there are in the game, or all the ones you have come accross so far.
I have played through Level 3. So far I have come across two kinds of Purple Dragon thugs: red-headed guys with bats and black guys with lead pipes. I have seen two types of mousers: regular and green (?). I have seen three types of Foot soldier: those with bos that throw shuriken at you when you are far away from them (very annoying), those with a katana, and the Foot Tech ninjas that start out as invisble and don't show up on your radar, even when they are not invisible. In the Nano level, there are two types of robots: blue ones that kick you and will fire their fist at you from far away, and red ones that have a long punch and will fire their fist at you from far away. The bosses I have fought so far include the Giant Mouser, Casey Jones (cuz I'm playing as Raph), Dragon Face, Nano (two or three versions), and the Evil Turtlebot. I can't wait to play this game some more so I can kick some Foot Elite butt. This game rocks!!! :thyper:
Oh, like self destructors.
ok, well now im gonna list all the enemies ive encountered on the GBA version.
Foot Soldier
Foot Soldier Sword
Foot Soldier Bow & Arrow

How to beat Nano:
Start by staying on the high ground and jumping to dodge Nano's attacks. While you're up there, use Leo's hard attack button to launch the barrels at Nano. If they hit Nano, they'll explode and Nano will take damage. Once you run out of barrels, you'll have to jump at Nano and press either attack button to hit him high. If you're on the ground level, you need to double jump then press an attack button.
I beat the demo... barely! I only lost one life before the fight with Nano (I lost it against the giant mouser). The Nano fight took every continue I had left!! What a great game! :P
-MC
you have to aim for his head, thats where youll do the damage.

Thats at least 10 levels with around 3 zones each.
Well, I just picked up "GameNow", its the first time Ive bought one and it seems to be an ok magazine. This magaizine featured the turtles in its new issue. It had reviews and boss strategies. NOw I would think they would include ALL of the bosses but maybe they didnt(I doubt they would only do some. Heres the bosses they had strategies for.......WARING *SPOILER*, for those who dont want to know all the bosses and want it to be a surprise.....

I'm not sure what the other codes do, but the X-treme sports TMNT each come with a code that supposedly gives that character a better weapon in the Story Mode.
What does that mean? Your guess is as good as mine.
Raph: RDSRL
Leonardo: LMLSD
Michelangelo: MSRMM
Donatello: DRLDS
My guess is that each letter represents a symbol.
R= raph
L= leo
M= mike
D= don
S= shredder
I think its shredder mainly because he is a playable charecter in the vs. mode.
I have many, many codes at the moment. All of the figures currently being shipped out have codes included with them. Here is what I have:
Casey Jones\Hun\April Code (Unlocks exclusive content): L (S?) (D?) R M
Mike\XTreme Mike Code (Improved Weapon): M (S?) R M M
Don\XTreme Don Code (Improved Weapon): (D?) R L (D?) (S?)
Raph\XTreme Raph Code (Improved Weapon): R (D?) (S?) R L
Leo\XTreme Leo Code (Improved Weapon): L M L (S?) (D?)

Yeah, the elevator was very hard, took me 3 goes.

I just got the game today and I've gotten past the Dojo with Raph (I wanted his jump attack) and I just got past Nano with Mike. That last fight against him was significantly easier on a console but still quite hard. I eventaully figured out the best way to beat him after you have used all the barrels. Is to use Mike's propeller kick in that oh so special way. Jump as high as possible and then tap that attack button like your life depended on it... and in that fight it does. You don't rack up much damage but it'll finish him off faster than most of the jump attacks and seeing as I only had Mike and Raph's... Mike was the best option. Playing that stage with a partner seems to be worse than playing alone. When you are playing two player the angles are rotten and you can't judge how far away Nano is... not to mention you can't freely go anywhere which in the end gets you hit a whole lot. So either you have to have a parter who is very compitent and will follow your lead in the split second you start... I recommend playing that fight solo and taking full advantage of all the life replenishers.
I was actually pretty alright with it being just two player but then I got to that level in "Nano" when you are on the bridge. The angles are so spread out automatically it makes NO SENSE WHATSO EVER why they couldn't make the game four player. They could still have the lead turtle in each story, but 4 player would have made this game TERRIFIC for parties. Though trading off at parties works pretty well too.
They seem to skip around a lot in the first few levels at least. Things Change covers everything before Nano BUT the ending sequence is still from the FIRST episode. It made no sense to go from saving April to finding Splinter in the sewers.
The made for game scenes (ie the opening stuff for the Evil Turtle Bot stages) are kinda neat. They aren't as nice as the footage from the episodes though and have slightly different designs. The scene seemed to play like a poorly dubbed anime actually... It reminded me of the cinema scenes on Mega Man X4.
TMNT is in fact the intial purchase in my Gamecube collection. I bought a Platinum GCN (the may be rare some places but Toys R Us had tons!), TMNT (which I bought from Target with the 5 bucks off coupon, sadly I didn't get a DVD - but it was a single episode one anyway according to the lady who rung the game up for me), and a Memory card 251 with 100 bucks I got from my grandparents and some of my own money. It came out to be about 160 bucks give or take. I've been putting off buying a GCN for a long time because I figured there would be a price drop. I decided with TMNT coming out and me wanting to keep my title of "owner of every TMNT console game" (I need the GBA one before I'll be owner of all the handhelds games again - but you can bet I'll be picking it up as soon as I can) and with Mario Kart: DD coming out... I figured, dang it I need a Gamecube. So I pooled my resources and finally bought one.
To gain a bit more perspective here. The last NEW game I bought was Game & Watch Gallery 4 (which I bought in Spring) and the last NEW console game I've recieved was Mario Tennis (which is MIA at the moment). So it's been a good 3 or 4 years since I bought a new game much less a new console. Fact is, this was the NEW first console I bought myself, and I must say I'm quite content. :D

I just came off an all-nighter and finished beating the gamecube version with all 4 turtles. Good god is oroku saki hard. Had it not been for the gembu and about 60 shurikens (maybe more), I would think that beating him is nearly impossible. I still have a good amount of makimonos to get seeing as I don't have all of the database unlocked. Now I have to beat the game as splinter. As for the GBA version, I beat it on easy, and I'm up to the shredder level on normal. I haven't tried it on hard yet, that shredder level is hard, and Hun slaps the taste outta my mouth. :dead: That little dash attack leo does sure doesn't work against him! :( Anyways, I hope I can get casey in story mode without beating the GBA version, although there's still so much to do, I'll love the challenge.

How do you get the thing where all turtles come in?
nWoCHRISnWo
10-26-2003, 12:43 AM
How do you save seperate story modes (in PS2/GC version) for each turtle? Are you guys using different memory cards, or does the character you pick after you load a game determine which saved story mode you want to continue on?
Also, when do you get to use that Gembo team move? Is it taught to you by Splinter in one of the Dojo things? And if so, is there a certain way you have to play to get it in? I'm up to Level 6: Justice with Donatello and I've only been through 2 Dojo lessons, so I never even got the chance to learn it. Do you have to be in Hard mode, or use a different character, or what?

the saving of the stages for each turtle can be on one memory card. When you pick a specific turtle, it will take you to where you ended.

I've completed Nano with Mike and Leo, and the Dojo with Raph (mainly for Casey Jones and Raph's jump attack). I love playing as Donny but I haven't played as him long enough.
I beat Nano with my friend as Mike and myself as Leo this time around, but he died ALL TOO fast. Which helped make it easier for me to move around. Then with about half of my last life left I slowly picked away at Nano by jump kicking and dashing away as fast as possible. It was hard work but I eventually pulled it off.
I got the GBA game today at Target (22.88 with the coupon and the current sale - with tax it came to just under 25 dollars), and I've been playing it like mad sense. I actually think I enjoy it more (not suprising really). Each turtle is vastly different and fun in their own way. Mike's wall jumps make him look completely like a frog BTW, which seems fitting because the game plays more like Battletoads than the TMNT games. It's actually a refreshing change.
Thus far the GBA game I've completed Leo, Raph, and Don's stages (I saved Mikey for last because I love to be him). Those dang Foot-Tech Ninja's were a pain. I'm currently on Mikey's third level.
I'm love'n these games!

Shredder
Oroku Saki
Also, it appears the only extra vs. stages are the Shinto Temple (After beating Oroku Saki), and Hamato Yoshi's dojo (I figure I got it after beating Story Mode with Casey Jones, because it didn't give me a password after beating it).

Actually, I haven't been keeping up to date :D
The thing is, the game developers can only go so far and keep up to date. Which is mainly why there is so much added footage and whatnot. The production on the game probably started last year, which is why "Things Change" and "Nano" are in the game, same with "Notes from the Underground". They probably weren't too far ahead in the season, and gave the game developers some inside information about the story development so they could add in the Foot Elite and what not.
Gotta remember, video games take like a year to make entirely.

Tengu was quite a challenge at times. I actually didn't have a lot of trouble on the Foot Gunner but holy cheese and pepperoni Batman those Mystic Ninja's are a pain in the shell! Metal and Fire mainly, but Air gave me a run for my money (Ground and Water were pretty easy).
Notes from the Underground is crazy stuff! Poor Mikey got spanked by those dang monsters. I only got to the third level. Any suggestions on how to deal with the monsters better? Anyone else find it strange that Notes from the Underground had a custom sequence for an opening rather than episode clips? I guess they couldn't cram the first episode or so of the arc into a short clip before the level and oppted to just retell the story. I don't think you meet that guy who "helped" the mutants. He's not the boss at least. I'm gonna have a tough time with this one I guess, because I hear the boss of the arc is one of the hardest in the game.

nope its the same. I just wish that they could have had more cheats forthe game. The other sound affects from the code I put in was very stupid. All it made was Next Mutation sounds like Bong.

*dies laughing* I found the best codes!!! On the official site, they've got some PS2 codes. Not all of them work, but try the ones to chance the character's costumes! They each have different ones. Spoiler alert!*

Raph = Biker
Donny = Trench coat w/ goofy glasses ( Throw back to the old toon)
Mikey = Turtle Titan
Leo = Japanese/ninja/samuri gear
Leo and Raph have the coolest costumes, IMO

how far is everyone with the game?? :wink: :DI'm up to Shredder in the GBA version on Normal. I stopped there and decided to give it a rest for the night.
Man, was that elevator act sure damned hard! Hun only added insult to injury, heh.
For Hun just attack, then jump on him to the opposite side, attack and repeat over and over. When he's nearly dead he'll start throwing bombs so dodge those as best you can, but aside from that he's one of the easiest bosses in the game :)
Does anyone have all crystals for the GBA version? I've searched everywhere but there's still a few I haven't got. Just wondering if anyone knows how many are in each stage?

Let me think...
There are I believe
3 on Leo's first stage (one which is hard to find) - On the path where there is a drop off after fighting mousers (which has an ooze container) wait around a while and some more mousers will appear. Clobber them and you'll get the crystal.
1 on Leo's vehicle stage - shoot the mousers
1 on Leo's third stage - climb up to the vents
3 on Raph's first stage - climb up buildings to find them
2 on Raph's vehicle stage - they are under barrels, it's a lot of trial and erro, don't forget you have to win to get the crystals
2 on Don's first stage - one by the pole you climb to get out of the sewer and one near a building - you'll need to jump on some boxes to get it so don't break the boxes before you check for it
2 on Don's vehicle stage - you are gonna have to shoot all the missiles from certain waves, a couple of the big barrages to be exact
1 on Don's other action stage - climb the poll near the lazers, I've also found that after you fight the foot ninjas you can jump up to a platform behind the box and hit the box through the wall to obtain the crystal
2 on Mike's first stage - one is behind a pillar when you are on the subway train (just jump around when you are near the polls and you'll probalby find it) and one in one of the pits with the lazers at the bottom (one of the later ones)
2 on Mike's vehicle stage - They are at the top of the full pipe so you'll need to do the loop to get them, but you'll have to to time it right - remember you have to collect a certain ammount of regular cyrstals to complete the level and keep the secret crystals.
and finally the last crystal is easily located on Mike's other acton stage - its in the room where you have to wall jump and avoid the lavafalls
I hope that helps you out, I know I wished I had some more help finding those dang things but GameFaqs was useless. Hmm... maybe I should write an FAQ?

it took me from christmas to now to beat the game with all for turtles plus splinter and casey, of course I had a little help.Did it via 2 player. the hardest boss to beat was stockman with leo,and with don was saki,and with mikey it was hun ,and with raph nano(the 1 at the end of the area).the hardest area was justice.the hardest stage in justice was trap coridor(besides shinito palace). it was a little easier with the gembu,but I used it mostly for bosses. and challenge mode (sigh) that was insane i mean you would think they would give you more than 3 or 4 seconds to get health and shurikens,HINT:try to get as much shurikens as possible and do not use them until you are at yoshi the fire shurikens take yoshi out good. :tsmile:

Ive Been wondering this for a while...Can PS2 players get Casey Jones In story mode? Cause I heard something about beating challenge mode in 15 minutes or less, but I did it and it didn't work.
I've beat the game with all four turtles, I've beat the challenge mode with Leo so I got Yoshi, and now I'm at the third level with Casey and Splinter (GC).
Just beat the game with everyone now, turtles, Splinter, and Casey. Only thing I didn't do was get all the scolls, but someone told me that there's nothing special you get for doing so. Plus I'm just too lazy to go look for them. Now I just await TMNT 2.

How do you save your progress? Do you have to choose the same turtle you chose last time to continue where you left off?

I beat Battle Nexus for GBA and the first one for GBA. Should have waited for the double pack...but the Shredder battle on # 2 is AWESOME! I've beaten him five times since I first beat it last Sunday.

I am in "Winter's Secret", which is inside the Winter's tower. Where are you in the game? I need some help. Has anybody gotten to where I am? I am in the tower where the flame is....there is a place where there are several pipes in the way. I am having a difficult time with it. There might be a glitch in the game or my system.
