After being reminded of Zulli's books (vol. 1; issues 31,35, and 36) what do other people have to say about them? Do you like the artwork or the story or any thing else? Or do you just not like them at all? :-?

I personally think they are awesome! The dark tones really fit with the turtles. It was also cool that he didn't concentrate on their individual aspects (all had swords and didn't know which one was who), but rather the group as a whole, and the "brothers" theme.

Thye are weird, but cool. The oddest part, first Saki tries to kill them, but helps the turtle with injury..

I love them all! I think it's a well-thought out, different way of looking at the TMNT story. Very spiritual, and well drawn.

I also got to meet Zulli in person this spring at a comic con. He's a really cool guy. :)

Zulli also did some work int Turtle Soup Vol. 1 & 2.

I love his work on the TMNT. It's an entirely different perspective but it's still quite interesting.

Dark horse made a TPB version of it, you should be able to find it at the usual comic shops, online stores.

michael zulli is my favorite TMNT artist. i'd kill for him to do his own TMNT comic =).

i love his dark, detailed art, with his deep thoughtful storytelling. other than vol. 1 and the turtle soups, he's also got some work in shell shock!

I loved Zulli's interpretation. The art was magnificent, and these remain some of my most favourite issues in all the comics.

This is very unexpected. I thought everyone would think the comics didn't fit the continuity or they were too bazaar. That obviously wasn't the case, everyone so far has stated Zulli's work to be great or even the best! I love Zulli's comics as well so it's great to see I'm not alone.

Most of the guest artist issues do not fit the continuity. Still it doesn't prevent them to be good.
