Placed here for the benefit of those who might be interested, but not likely to enter the GD's Pro Wrestling Thread. This way everybody gets to see it.

Geez, they really were everywhere back then, weren't they? Good grief.

The head of that costume... That is definitely a mutant Turtle in the throes of having an allergic reaction.

[Leo656]

Definitely in the throes of... "something".

The Turtles I met at the grand opening of some sporting goods store in 1990 had way better costumes... except they were fuzzy, for some reason.

I guess that makes about as much sense as this does.

Also, I grew up reading about it but I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've ever seen footage of the Gilbert/Lawler hit-and-run. Jesus, Jerry! No wonder they got so many phone calls.

[Prowler]

Surprised WCW didn't have a Ninja Turtle gimmick at some point. I mean they had Sub-Zero and Robocop...

[Powder]

Some very amusing gifs in there. :tlol:

[Leo656]

I'm a big fan of the "Bodacious/Awesome/Radical/Bogus" chart. Very informative.

[pferreira]

The second guy down Yoshi Kwan looks like Jason Momoa.

Haha, little bit, with the Fu-Manchu and everything.

He died not long ago. Can't remember how.
