An evil tech club lures Donnie with the promise of a gorgeous purple jacket.

Pizza Pit
It’s Pizza Week, the greatest week of the year, but the Turtles’ favorite pizza joints keep getting taken out.

I did love the second half of the show though.

I laughed way harder at that part than I should have. What really nails it are:
The foam costumes.

Gotta be honest, usually it's cute, but these Turtles do not look too great sans masks... Although I liked Leo's PJs. Naked-looking Donnie in contrast however...

Well, I give this show props on actually making female mutants more of a norm and not the rare exception to the rule. Even if they were kind of annoying.

So... Donnie has gained 2012 Mikey's belief in imaginary creatures? (I know, I know, it showed up at the end, but like we'll ever see it again.)

Originally thought he may have been one of the better characters in this series and the most intact, but with some of the past eps after seeing both of these eps, this Donnie is starting to get annoying in some ways, to be honest.

I think I've had my fill of wannabe "Ren & Simpy" faces for one series.

Since they used it again, if we don't see those suited up Turtles as figures in stores eventually I'll be surprised.

edit: Oh and I must not forget the pics of 2012 Turtles from seires, costumes, and the crossover '87 TMNT, which was kinda cool. lol

Not the worst eps, but... meh. Watched the pizza one first, figuring I'd like the other one better since it was actually Purple Dragon themed not just pizza themed, but honestly... the pizza one was funner imo, if still a nothing ep.

Someone out there is so going to ship one of the Turtles with one of those band girls by next weekend, mark my words... lol

Both of these ep segments were weird and kinda lame. Honestly prefer the purple dragons as a gang than some high school club although the tech bit is a cool take but that can be mixed in with the gang aspect. Dont really have much to say on the pizza 1.

The Purple Jacket was okay but Pizza Pit was just boring. I did like the interaction between Don and April how he was constantly blaming her for his faults.

All I have to say about these two episode is: annoying and boring. I hated the new concept of the Purple Dragons, jeez I guess they needed to include a tech gang so it would appeal to this new generation of kids?
I liked that scene were Leo appears to check on Don wearing his pajamas.

They didn't hint anything. The terms "Classic characters" were mentioned but nowhere did it stated anything about Casey in that video and you still haven't shared a link to where it says he likes him. You basically just gave us a link to a random behind the scenes video.

How am I being rude? You're being rather irrational and groundless, if anything. I'm not asking for Casey to be in the show nor am I waiting for him. All I'm asking is that you show a link to prove that he's going to be in the show. You can't just say certain things without any sources. It'd help if you had something to back you up, as any fan could just say anything based on wishful thinking. Also please stop calling fans "whiny brats" as it's very uncivil.

I dunno... seeing Pizza Pit again, I could really kind of do without the gross "Ren & Stimpy" faces being applied to the Turtles.


The girl mutants are still cool though and the one place I have to give points to this show.

Esp after 2012 always seemed kind of restricted and hesitant (at least until late in the series) on its inclusion of women and especially how, but then this one just throws them in like their being there is just...*gasp* normal. It won't make me like this mess of a show more, but if that's something good it can add to the franchise, at least the cartoon side of it, then it's not a bad choice. (Granted who will actually show up again other than Big Mama is still questionable.)

So I was rewatching the Purple Jacket and it occurred to me... Why didn't Donny just use the Turtle Tank instead of riding the whole way on the back of April's bike?

Purple Dragons being a bunch of Tech kids isn't too bad(even if it would make more sense if they were called Phantom Striders) and they at least did something unlike the 2k12 version where calling them fodder would be an insult to fodder.
