Oh jeeeze....that's a hard one, since I had so many from the old series and can't remember from TMNTNM,
I've already said what my 2003 fav ep is, but other than Tales of Leo, in no particular order, I liked Things Change, Shredder Strikes part 2, Attack of the Mousers, Nano, and both parts of Shredder Strikes Back.
Ok for old eps, my favorites are...(also in no particular order) Turtles Turtles Everywhere, Beware the Lotus, Back to the Egg, Farewell Lotus Blossum, What's Michaelangelo Good For?, Adventures in Turtle Sitting(I also liked Adventures in Babysitting back then @.@), Polly Wanna Pizza, Mr. Nice Guy, Night of the Dark Turtle, the Begining of the End, and Dirk Savage: Mutant Hunter.
As for why those are my favorite eps...I dun wanna bother explaining all of them.

From the old show "Enter the Shredder" From the new show, there are so many it's hard to decide. I'l say Return to NY part 3.

From the 80s, the whole first season.
From the 03, out of the ones I've seen so far, Shredder Strikes and Shredder Strikes back. Both two parters were just incredible, they really blew me away. Easily the best pieces of cartoon writing I've ever seen, and the animation was top notch too.

ok my fav episodes from the first season, The first two episodes, the story was great, there were quotable lines, the animation rocked Krang and shredder were so scary, and I liked those lines down their beaks that mysteriously disapeared. I also have to mention the episode where leo and mikey turned into kid turtles, that was way cool.
As for TNM I would say the first episode, only because I was most excited about a new turtles show.
Then they is the new show, I like the last three episodes that have been on, I feel that the TCRI building was designed in a most intriguing was, with the ablity to go into more detail then the comic book. I also LOVE fugitoid so when I first herd he would be appearing, I almost pooed my pants, needless to say I was anticipating his appearance as well as the triceratons. I aslo think that the donatello micro series with Jack Kirby, I mean do I really need to make a case with that one. The Leatherhead episode will also please me greatly when it arrives.

Okay, out of all the episodes which are your favorites from,
TMNT
Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation...This is general TMNT discussion, boy! :P
Oh, wait, you're new, so let me explain ;) :
Long time forum-goers know that I hate TNM so much that I honest to God don't even consider it part of the TMNT universe, even in real life! To me, Next Mutation was about as much TMNT as Pat Buchanan is as much a liberal gay rights activist, heh.
Anyway:
Original series = Entire first season, "New York's Shiniest", "Sky Turtles", "Super Bebop and Mighty Rocksteady" (going by the actual episode header on this one), "Shredderville", "Bye Bye Fly", "The Big Cufflink Caper", "Dirk Savage, Mutant Hunter!", "Shredder Triumphant", "Get Shredder!", and "Turtle Trek"
TNM = (see above comments about it)
2003 = "Things Change"

Original: The entire first season, Splinter Vanishes, Leonardo Vs. Tempestra, Donatello's Degree, Raphael Knocks 'Em Dead, Usagi Yojimbo, Come Home Usagi, Enter: The Fly, The Making of Metalhead , Leatherhead: Terror from the Swamp
Next Mutation: Dunno, watched one episode then never ever watched it again.
2K3: Every episode, but Shredder Strikes Back Part 2 stands out the most.

Hmm, since I wasn't really interested in the old series the only episodes I can remember are The Adventures in Turtle Sitting and The Adventures of Rhino Man (I saw the video clip and it brought back memories, I remember the turtles pulled a smoke bomb trick, and switch a diamond with a fake, Shredder took the fake thinking it was the real deal). That's pretty much all I can remember.
Never seen The Next Mutation.
The new series rules! I like the bit where Casey smashed the DVD player. I eagerly await the Turtles In Space 5 part episodes!

I forgot to put my favorite for the old cartoon which caused me to fall in love with the Turtles. I don't remember much but I'll go with Mighty Bebop and Rocksteady.

From the old cartoon:
Turtle Tracks (1987)
Enter The Shredder (1987)
The Shredder Is Splintered (1987)
The Incredible Shrinking Turtles (1988)
Enter The Fly (1988)
The Cufflink Caper (1990 or 91?)
Starchild (1993 ?)
I have many episodes to see and rewatch, so this could take a while to find all my faves. :goofygri:

You're lucky you can rewatch them. I only have three of old videos.
From the old series, I really like the first two episodes, the only ones from that series I watch on a somewhat regular basis. But there were several others I'm sure I liked that I simply have not seen in a long time.
TNM: The first five episodes. However, my rewritten, comic book version is gonna be so much better. But those are the only ones I really remember since I have them on tape. (Uncut even!)
2003 series: My favorite single episode so far has to be Tales of Leo. But Return to New York is the best multi-part story in my mind, so far.

Enter the Shredder was deffinitely my favorite episode of the old season, probably among the top 3 or 4 TMNT episodes of all time...

Hmmm, I like most every episode of the first show (before they made it serious) but I can say, Turtles Tracks, The Maltese Hampster, Enter The Rat King, Cowabunga Shredhead, Casey Jones: Outlaw Hero, What's Michaelangelo good for? and a lot more.
From the '03 series so far I've liked all of them, but King Kirby is probably my favorite.

 You know, this thread has probably popped up on these forums a dozen times. But I never tire of answering it. :)
The Next Mutation: I don't remember these episodes well enough to be able to say which one was my favorite. I do recall, however, how ridiculous Shredder and the Foot Clan looked in the very first episode; and to kill them off so suddenly seemed awfully weird at the time.
New Ninja Turtles Cartoon, 2003: I have only seen a few episodes when I haven't been working, and they were decent enough. I couldn't tell you what the names of the episodes were, though. Whichever episode it was where Leonardo spent the entire show fighting in the rain comes to mind right now; it was pretty good.
Old Ninja Turtles Cartoon: Wwwaaaaaayyy too many to list here. I am so devoted to the old show, it's hard not to pick them all for various reasons. I'm still holding on to the thin hope of there being a DVD set in the near future (like, say, the next 100 years), but that doesn't appear to be in the works.

Actually I only own the three movies and about seven of the cartoon videos. I rent others from the rental stores from time to time...the stores around here don't have that many (I've rented alot of them already). There's one more store that I need to watch their selection but their rental policy is different...so I may not get to those ones.

Here's a tip, make a private copy of your rentals, a DVD copy if possible. That way you'll have all the episodes for good, VHS tapes don't last forever.

Old show: There are quite a few I liked, especially the ones where April gets rescued because I always wanted to be her. :D But, the first season was totally awesome. Episodes following in the years are:
1988: "Return of the Shredder," "New York's Shiniest," "The Catwoman From Channel Six"
1989: "Burne's Blues," "April Foolish," "Take Me To Your Leader," "Cowabunga Shredhead," "Blast From The Past," "The Great Boldini"
1990: "Peking Turtle," "Shredder's Mom," "Four Turtles and a Baby," "Turtlemaniac," "Menace, Maestro Please," "Poor Little Rich Turtle"
1991: "Planet of the Turtleoids" part one and two
1992: "Phantom of the Sewers"
1993: "Night of the Dark Turtle," "White Belt, Black Heart"
1994: "Get Shredder!," "Cyber-Turtles"
I probably have more favorites then that, but I haven't seen many of them between 1993 and 1996. While the synopsises sound interesting, I'd like to physically watch them all...when I have time, of course.
Next Mutation: "Turtles Night Out," the one where Mikey puts on an all-night rave for animal rights and guests could come as their favorite animal. Out of that whole ep, I liked the part where Leo and Don got to dance with two girls, one dressed as a lamb, the other a dog. They didn't interact with humans very much, so I'm sure they both enjoyed dancing with them quite a bit. :)
TMNT 2003: Oh, lets see...all of them? No, seriously, I think I really got into the "Notes from the Underground" trilogy. Traveling in the caverns looked like the Sucubi layer in the CD ROM game, "Drakan: Order of the Flame" while the whole kingdom reminded me of Antarctica's Lost City of Tinnos in "Tomb Raider III." Anyone who's played that game and got that far knows what I'm talking about. It looks kind of like it.
Since I loved the Donatello micro book, I loved the ep, "The King." It felt like the comic had literally come to life in bright, moving colors!
I also loved "The Shredder Strikes Back" part one because it's the ep where Mikey does the one of the biggest burps I've ever heard!
"Tales of Leo" was so sweet, I loved it to bits. The flashbacks of mini turtles was sooo adorable.
"Lone Raph & Cub" I guess I liked this one mainly for the funny parts. Raph getting punched three times in the face, running into a wall, and being a big softie to a kid, er, Tyler. Not one of the greatest eps, but it did have its moments.
"The Search for Splinter" part one. Loved all the action and again with the comedy relief. I laughed quite a bit in many parts. Part two was also great!

I forgot to add "The Incredible Shrinking Turtles" to my list.

Yeah, see? I knew there were eps I didn't add that had funny or memorable quotes. I was also trying to keep my list short and think about the ones I remembered (and liked) the most. There was a lot of them I didn't like, but they had good quotes/scenes in them, making it tough to decide. Really, I need to sit down one day and watch them all till my eyes dry out!
Kali: It seems like a large majority of the people on here don't like TNM, but I have a feeling with your wonderful talent, you'll not only turn them around (slightly, they'll probably still hate the original, lol) and enjoy your comic, you'll also do the show justice! :)

Well since Brina nicely categorized hers, so shall I. Also Brina and I think alike cuz I also always enjoyed those eps where the turtles came to the rescue. And I also feel the same way about wanting to be April sometimes.....lucky girl!
Original Series
1987: All five-part mini series
1988: "It Came from Beneath the Sewers", "Enter: The Fly", "Splinter No More", "The Cat Woman from Channel Six"
1989: "Beneath These Streets", "Turtles on Trial", "The Old Switcheroo", "Enter the Rat King", "April's Fool"
1990: "Turtlemaniac", "Rebel Without a Fin", "What's Michaelangelo Good For?"
1991: "Michaelangelo Meets Bugman Again", "Leonardo, Renaissance Turtle", "Planet of the Turtleoids Part One & Part Two"
1992: "Leonardo is Missing", "Mr. Nice Guy"
1993 ep & European eps: "Rust Never Sleeps", "The Lost Queen of Atlantis", "Night of the Dark Turtle", "White Belt, Black Heart"
1994 'Red Sky' Season 1: "Get Shredder!", "Cyber-Turtles"
1995 'Red Sky' Season 2: "The New Mutation"
1996 'Red Sky' Season 3: "The Beginning of the End", "Divide and Conquer"
TNM
"All in the Family", "Turtles Night Out", "Unchain My Heart" Part 1, 2, 3, 4"
FB Series
"A Better Mousetrap", "Attack of the Mousers", "The Shredder Strikes, Part I & II", "Shredder Strikes Back, Part I & II", "Tales of Leo", "Return to New York, Part I, II, III"
I liked "A Better Mousetrap" and "Attack of the Mousers" cuz it was April's introduction and cuz she shared her first adventure with them. "The Shredder Strikes I and II" cuz I loved how Leo interacted with Oroko Saki, and how Splinter told teh origin story behind Shredder, and cuz it was their first battle with him. "The Shredder Strikes Back I and II" cuz in part one I thought the battle scene with Leo and the foot was incredible! Best fight scene i've seen sofar, and esp. solo fight scene without the other turtles. Part II cuz it was the famous battle in the antique store. "Tales of Leo" cuz i thought it was cute how how they all reminiced about Leo's past to revive him, and cuz the stories were funny, and cuz Leo and Raph finally bonded. "Rtn to NY I, II, III" cuz it was interesting to see the inside of Shredder's station, and cuz April was handy on her headset, and cuz the fight with Baxter and Shredder was interesting, and lastly cuz in part III they had a great fight with Shredder and Leo beheaded Shredder....or so he thought. I dunno about you, but when Shredder picked up his head and started walking off, that was a tad spookey!

I'm so late getting to these old post, but I want to be a part of this forum. I want to become better known. So here I go.
From the old TMNT series, god, there are so many that I could possibly list here. I do have some favorites that stick out in my mind though. The others, I either remember a little, but forgotten about them, or I just don't remember seeing them. But the ones that stick out in my mind are:
The Great Boldini
Sky Turtles (these 2 were the FIRST episodes I saw from the old series)
Back To The Egg (Little Leo and Mikey were adorable!)
Incredible Shrinking Turtles
Donatello's Degree
Turtles of the Jungle
Night of the Dark Turtle (These last three gave different aspects of Donatello, and since I'm a Donatello fan, I've always liked those 3 episodes).
As far as movie places where I live having the old series on VHS, my video store has like, 14 tapes I think. I've already rented and watched them already, and hey, the store manager says I can have them for like a buck each. So not a bad deal..
As for the Next Mutation...I never saw any of the episodes..so no favs!
And for the new series... I liked "Things Change" "Nano" and "The Way of Invisibility" (I think that's what it's named) although I'm liking all the episodes just the same.
However, I have only seen what those 4 DVDs have to offer (the ones out right now). I was, unfortunately, very late into getting into the new series. I would try and watch the episodes, but have something come up and couldn't see it. However, just from what everyone has been saying, it seems like "Tales of Leo" is good, I can't wait to see it (because of seeing them younger), and also "The King" seems good, because it features Don, but also, I just purchased the, is it a comic or series, or whatever it is with the same title.
I know I'm getting off subject now, but would someone PM me and tell me exactly, in details, what went on in "Tales of Leo" and "The King"? If you don't mind that is....
