From Russia With Love (hardcovers)

[Diorm]

I'm really sad... and pissed. Why? Because Russia's publisher Illusion Studios is making what IDW don't even care to do right now; good Hardcovers for old TMNT comics. Don't get me wrong, I like the Ultimate run from IDW but why did they stop there? Why not continue with volume 2 and tales? Those guys in Russia don't seems to have a problem doing it. Here Let's look at those beautiful books that I can't even read cause I don't know a word in Russian.

[Diorm]

The guys from IDW should learn a thing or two from you guys!
Are those Hardcovers limited runs?

[CylonsKlingonsDaleksOhMy]

Yes, we plan to publish the entire series.

I'm curious, why does the Volume 4 collection stop at Issue #30, and leave out #31 and #32?

[AlZarkovski]

Are those Hardcovers limited runs?
Yep.:tsmile:

[AlZarkovski]

I'm curious, why does the Volume 4 collection stop at Issue #30, and leave out #31 and #32?
#31 and #32 were published after Nickelodeon bought the TMNT. The rights to these two comics belong to Peter Laird. He did not give the rights to release them.

[Diorm]

Interesting. So that means IDW can publish Volume 4 at least up to issue 30.

Since they started publishing Volume 3, are you guys going to do it too?
And what kind of deal do you have with Nick? Can you only publishin in Russian language and only make enlglish version of Fan made comics? (Odyssey)

[frank_one]

Those covers for Volume 2 and 4, I love them! I wish I could read Russian :(

Only Russian language and only official comics. Odyssey has not been published by the Illusion Studios. This is fan edition.

If you can learn to recognize some letters, you can at least learn to recognize some words in languages using those scripts.

[darthsmozers]

Is it possible to buy these Chris Allan editions here in the US? I can’t read Russian but would love to simply have the editions with those covers :o:o:o:o

[Diorm]

If only IDW was aware of what you are doing with those. it's just weird that instead we get a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Collection Volume 7 with covers and arts. Even with Volume 6, peoples wanted the story to continue from Volume 5 and they only get short stories (They should have renamed the book something else. It was misleading. And don't get me wrong. I really liked those short stories) Instead we got simple and cheaper TPB for Volume 2 with colors we didnt asked for. So frustrating.

And for people that don,t know better. How would they know that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classics, Vol. 8 is the sequel they are looking for? Like, really? Yours are so better explained.

I think you can write a PM to Arseniy Dubakov (Demon-Alukard (http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/member.php?u=4044)) and negotiate a purchase with him. :)

Yup, IDW should take note!
