GreenWilliow is hosting a new art contest where you create a cross species mutant offspring with one of the TMNT and another non-turtle character, or one of your own design. Like what would it look like if Raphael and Ninjara actually had kids, etc. You can go here for more details!

heheh.. Well, of course!
I have the HorseTechie, and poondered some other ideas. Like the Sara n Mike cross. Any other suggestions... or Requests for those who have an idea but can't draw it?
Now this looks fun! I have to say that I've never tried drawing hybrids before, though. Still, a challenge is always nice.

Yeah when I read that post, I kinda thought up some ideas in my head but I dunno if I'll enter it. But you never know... ;)

Ooh! I've got one too! I was playing around one day and decided to try and come up with a turtle human hybrid. And thus Hoshiko was born. :) And I've got THREE stories for her already, I just have to get them typed up.

Ooh... Very cool drawings, Kameko! She seems more turtle than human, but I can tell that she's a crossbreed (five fingers, ears, etc.). Interesting.

I entered...
Its a combo of a painting of Kat I did in May, color pencil drawings of the twins I did just recently, and a pic of the Movie Mike taken off the net. ;) And put together via Photoshop.

oh yeah.. I saw those, since GW is posting them now. She gave me a sneak peek of Charlene earlier, cause we were wishfully thinking if one between Sunni (her Afro-American char) and Raph could be done. Very cool! :D

That sounds really interesting. So many stories have XBreeds, Itd be nice3 to see what they look like...

I'm debating whether to send in my pic of Raph and Kali's theoretical daughter (Crash and Burn universe.) I've got Vincent done and another I gotta finish. I think that's enough though.

Wow Kali, it sounds like you've got lots of entries for this contest. I'm curious as to how the Raph/Kali crossover would look like. A turtle/demon combo sounds really interesting...

Hoshiko is very cute!
I've eventually gotten around to send GW my hybrid. She's the daughter of my mutant iguana Tillymint and Mikey.
I've named her Eswen, which means 'strength' in Welsh.
Of course no sooner had I sent it when I saw something I wasn't too pleased with so I might do another. :lol:

LOL!! I think someone's addicted. :P That's okay, the PS2 is plenty o' fun. It's understandable.... I couldn't stop playing it when I first got it. :embarass:
Anywho, I haven't visited GW's site in the past few days, so I don't know about any new entries. I've been trying to keep count of everyone entering, and I think HT is going to have three entries?? That means I missed one.

Deadline to get artwork in is August 25th. Then the judges vote and the winners are announced Aug. 31st.

Heh.. thanks. I would have loved to colored it with the computer... but I have got so used to Photoshop 6, trying to use this limited edition PS 5 on my work PC drove me nuts. So it's colored in with pencils. Bleh. My pencil coloring skills had gotten sooo rusty. :oops:

Yeah, I've got a couple I decided not to send in, like a Gargoyles/TMNT crossover and my idea of what Raph and Kali's daughter would look like, plus my third entry idea that I never did get a good draft of. I'm gonna put those, and my entries, up on my page after the contest is over.
At least I'll have something to put up, as I am really out of commission for another week or two at the least.

Taking third place is HorseTurtle with the mutant hybrid, Thaddeus, son of
Leonardo and Arwen the elf.
The second prize winner is MikeyQM and mutant hybrid Hamato Izanagi, son of Hamato Raphael and Umeko Ninjara.
The first prize winner is Amandatello with the nameless mutant offspring of
Donatello and Angela Gargoyle.
And our Grand Prize Winner is... ::drum roll::

To add about any eventual child of Ninjara and Raph...
Most likely, It'll look like a fox. Considering the fox to be a more advanced life form (dont kill me for that) I'd say that it would dominate the character.
Perhaps somewhat greater physical traits...
Of course, that's not a real hybrid.

But you may be right.. in the hybrid contestants who did the Ninjara/Raph offsroing, they all possessed more fox-like characteristics.

Well, to clear it up, it woudn't look like a turtle at all (no shell, no anything).
