One thing I've noticed Eastman and Laird have ditched in the new series are those belts, the ones bearing the letters of their first names. How does this effect you?
Well, the letters helped me out alot when i was a kid...but nowadays...i like the no letter look...

originaly the turtles never had the letters on their belts... so it isn't that big of a deal. 'sides, theres the diffrent skin colors in the new toon, and the masks, to tell them apart.

I don't quite understand why they added the letters. You had the mask colors to tell them apart (and, of course, the voices)

Seeing as how I'm partial to the old cartoon, I always loved the fact that the Turtles had individualized belts. I especially appreciated it in all the old Ninja Turtles coloring books.
I'll never forget the time Donatello used his personalized belt buckle to free himself and the other Turtles from prison in "Cyber-Turtles." Now that was a stroke of pure genius.

It did help me to determine who is who.....either style works for me

I prefer the original, no-initial look. It gives the characters less of a "Power Ranger" feel.

It makes no difference to me. The letters were cool in the old show, and no letters in the new show is cool too.

I hadn't really noticed the difference on the belts until it was pointed out so I guess it doesn't make too much difference. As long as the weapons and bandanas remain the same I'll be happy.
Oh, god, I HATE THE POWER RANGERS!

I used to like them with the letters back in the day. But when I learned of the movie/comics turtles originally not wearing them, I thought they looked good without them. So nowadays for the FB TMNT, I like them without the letters.

Yea, thats how i feel, I prefer initials on the old show but the new show is better off without them.

Off topic: well since crappy shows seem to be the requirement to air on television nowadays and Power Rangers: (starting from the Zeo Era) is crap, it's allowed to stay on the air. It's all logic.
Note: When I talk about crappy shows, I exclude the 2003 TMNT show (of course).
On topic: I like them better without the initials. It gives them that "Mirage comic" feeling.

First off, Eastman isn't a part of the new series, second, I prefer the new belts, third, the old belts are making a return in the new full costume role playing kit...yes, they have the letters again.

I find it funny that you can enjoy repetitive shows with terrible acting, paper thin plots and disgusting special effects.
