What is a fair price for a whole lot of Mirage Vol.1 comics, all first printing except for the first 3, 5th and 6th issues? The current asking price is 202 US Dollars...

I paid over 200$ for my collection. Of course they are from comic shops and in best possible condition. I wouldn't pay that much to a Ebay seller if I couldn't see the comics first.

Doesn't matter anyway. The auctions up to 350 and I'm sure it will go higher. No way I'm putting down that much cash for comic books. Damn this pisses me off. I can't wait till comics go extinct and trade paperbacks are the new format (like Manga!). This crap never happens when I want a Japanese series :P

AHAHAHAHAH It doesn't matter, I just ordered all of Volume 1 from Mycomicshop and MileHIghComics for a total (including shipping) of $220! I'm still missing #58 though, but the official site has that. I'll probably order it when I'm reading issues in the 40's, alone with Volume 2 and 4. BTW, is volume 2 canon in the mirage universe?

Yes Volume 2 is Canon. Good choice, with comic shops you can be certain that all the books are in the condition you paid for.

Man..i guess all this new found popularity has these old issues goin for quite a buck...glad i already got all of mine (except fot the original #1 of course)

Most from mycomicshop.com and the ones they didn't have from milehighcomics.com. For volume 1 the total was around 220 if I remember correctly.

I got over 50 books from My comic shop, and the few I was missing from milehigh. Most of the books werre pretty cheap, like 2$ or 3$.

ok, pretty nice, but when you order several comics from mycomicshop the shipping is very expensive. am i right??

what about the first four issues are they in first print??

Yes, the shpping is pretty expensive for a big box like that. Around 30$ If I remember correctly. Issues 1-6 are reprints.

I followed the exact same formula as Karpo, and between both stores, shipping included, it came to about 220 as well (I got some worse condition copies of less important issues. This is totally for reading anyway, I'm not a collector in the pure sense of the term)

All that were avilable NM are NM. Rest are the best possible quality.

A recent ebay collection, including #4 1st print- end issue went for around $460 was it? Super crazy! I think it's worth about 1/2 that, but ebay goes in trends. The new cartoon is making tmnt comics hot right now. Thats cool, I just wish a realy fan gets it, not a collector with little/no interest.

i wouldn't buy all of the vol.1 issues on ebay, cause you can't be sure about their condition
