TMNT in Smite

I've never played Smite but apparently TMNT is going to be in it.

SMITE is a MOBA, like DOTA(2) or Heroes of the Storm.
In MOBA two teams compete with each other to destroy base of the opposing team first. It's like RPG, but without quests or open world. You just fight enemy team and neutral monsters on the map and level up through it.

SMITE is different from most other MOBAs in that you play game in typical 3rd person view, like Batman Arkham or Assassins' Creed, while in most other MOBAs you have an isometric view.

Man all this new age videogame stuff flies over my head, I feel like an old man when I hear about Fortnite and Minecraft and moba's and stuff I never heard of.

Now I know how my parents generation felt when I was talking about Mario and Zelda and Pokemon and so forth when they grew up with Asteroids and Space Invaders.

Minecraft is literally 11 years old, not a recent game. MOBA's are also from the late 2000's. Fortnite is only a third person shooter online where you can build stuff.

Love the look of this but I can't do MOBAs... not my thing and I don't like PvP-focused games anyway. Shame because it looks really nice.

Hope something good comes along for the TMNT license in gaming soon.

Actually, you know what... when this hits I'll check out some gameplay vids. If there's some decent non-PvP content you can play with the turtles, I might just give it a shot. Also check out the Splinter and Shredder preview:

Anything after say...2008...is zoomer stuff.

There was some crossover between us 80's/90's fans and early 2000's stuff from 2000-2007 or so, as we were either late teens or early 20's then. But by nearly 2010 all the zoomers born in the year 2000 grew up with the later stuff.

Minecraft Steve is a zoomer character.

I just watched this video then headed back to see if someone posted about this. Didn't care for the FW theme recreation or the skins for that matter but the designs look pretty decent. Don't know anything about this game.

i found an in game video of the tmnt skins. they look pretty good! (i love that Splinter!)
