What do you think happened to him at the end of the episode when his Dimension X alien turned on him and threw him in the back and rode off into space?

I think the point of him was he was cruel to the animals in his circus, and getting thrown into a cage by one of his captives was comeuppance for how he treated his beasts.

My guess is the creature who threw Cruelic into the cage is sentient and was enslaved by the evil ringmaster, and it would surprise me if the creature now either freed the other circus captives/treated them as employees if the decided to stay, then exhibited Cruelic himself as a circus attraction; a fitting punishment.
