I don't know about you, but I don't think I would eat an animal I know had been exposed to alien chemicals and drastically mutated, just saying. Not against GMOs or anything but I would like to know they've been proven safe to eat first.

Hard to say, Fukushima contaminated a LOT of fish, all the way to California's coast, & it didn't seem to affect things too significantly. But I guess the effects of radiation & contaminants can take years to bear their rotten fruit. I wouldn't eat a ninja turtle, that's for sure.

Now I wonder HOW much Turtle Soup it'd produce...I mean a 100-some-odd pound Turtle would have how much meat?
Man...this is a dark thread.

It's not that dark. Now how much bacon would Bebop yield?

The chuck is the shoulder, correct? Isn't one of them mechanical? Or was that just a suit?

I don't know about the cut of beef, but I'm sure the arms are normal. It's his leg that's metal, but I think it's just armor.

After decades of living in the sewers and eating who knows what? No, I don't think you could consider them healthy food.

It's bound to taste better than kale. I'm down to find out. :tgrin:
We Irish eat pretty much anything. "Boil anything for 18-20 hours, and it's edible." That's the rule!

You mean their bathwater? lol
I mean, I doubt it would kill you, but given the skirmishes these guys get into in some rather unhygienic places, and a across gritty city in general, I wouldn't.
edit: That'll be a movie someday... They eventfully end up famous and someone is going to try the "sell the bathwater" route to make a few bucks.
To be fair, cannibals should probably avoid eating modern humans these days, too. All the stuff we put into ourselves, and we created much of that filth to begin with.

Coming next: "Which character from the TMNT universe would you eat?"
I think I would taste grilled Triceraton's legs with barbecue sauce.

Hopefully nobody tries to eat Wingnut or we're right back to Lockdowns for another year.

Great, thanks, now I'm just pondering who'd be the most edible.
Technically, I guess there are major and minor mutants in the franchise who could end up as pork chops or burgers/steak...

Shredder was going to demutate them with the retromutagen gun before eating them. That line was only in the video games because of how dark it was. Obviously eating whole mutant turtles would take a while and be dangerous. One would hope Shredder washes them in clean water first.

Sorta on topic, also sorta not.
I'm the pastor of a church that has a large gym, and not long ago, a local boy scout leader came and asked if they could use our gym/kitchen to do a fundraiser dinner. I was on board until he told me that the main dish would be turtle soup. We're sitting in my office which is filled with Ninja Turtles figures. I'm like, "Dude, know your audience!"
We let him do it, lol.

Crabs and lobsters sit at the bottom of the ocean eating poop and puke their whole lives. They taste wonderful.
Mutant Turtle probably tastes delicious.

I've definitely thrown in on the "I wonder what alligator tastes like" debate. There happens to be a cajun store a city away that sells it frozen. It disappointedly tastes like watery chicken. Not unlike frog legs, though (and those are amphibian) those carry at least a little more flavor.
Never had turtle in any way.
Best meat I've had in my life? Black bear. Oh wow. Those are the best steaks you'll ever have. Amazing. Comparable to nothing else.

I doubt the villains planned to eat the Turtles after finishing them. Turtle Soup was just a great line.

The city where I went to college has a festival called Toad Suck Daze every May (since it's nicknamed the City of Colleges, the proceeds go to scholarships to the 3 colleges in town) and they have food trucks which serve fried gator on a stick.
It be mighty tasty, by gumbo.
Can't say I've had bear. Dear and maybe a rabbit (went to an Italian restaurant called the Rabbit House and it was a specialty there, we got a meat sampler...so maybe I had rabbit...maybe.)

Wait wait wait. Turtle soup is made from ACTUAL turtles? All my life I thought it was like turle chocolates (see below). That being the case, I'm gonna pass on the soup. But I'll take the chocolates.

Tough luck, brah. If it breathes, the Chinese will try it at least once.
