Idea for a RPG

I had an idea pop into my head. It's kind of crazy. But how about one set in the future? Like 2052 or 2042 or something like that. Just for something different that the typical setting. The guys could still be around since they're turtles or maybe they can be sent into the futue somehow or a Samuari Jack sort of thing. Just an idea.

Wow, that sounds like a neat idea. I've got a few old fan fic characters that are from that time period that I've been meaning to drag out again so I may bring them in if they fit.

you know every forum i have been to based on TMNT always has the turtles taken :roll: but in this one it seems like no one wants to rp them, they all want there original characters in it......so what would we do about the turtles? :-?

Well, either we can have them as NPCs (non-player characters) which means anyone can play them, or we each take one. I wasn't planning on making any of my originals main characters in this RP, especially since I might not be able to fit them all in. I'd happily take on a Turtle or two as a character.

Here's a preliminary profile of the charcter I was thinking about being.

Name: Son Goshen or Goshen Son (Goshen is his first name)

Gender: Male.

Age: depends on when the RPG is actually set he can be either a child or teen/young adult.

Species/race: Goshen is a mixture of different species/races. He’s about ¾ human, ¼ Saiyan, ¼ Mutant Turtle and 1/8 Felinamen.

Hair: Brownish red with red strands and streaks that is unruly and some of it sticks up into hard spikes.

Eyes: Blue

Background: Goshen is the eldest grandchild/grandson of Michealangelo and Katrina Diggens and the son of their daughter, Bell-Alyanna or Bella who is married to Goshen’s father Son Goten and from where Goshen gets his Saiyan blood. Of course that makes Goshen’s paternal grandfather none other than the great Saiyan hero & warrior, Goku who lives on the Planet Earth in another dimension that’s parallel to this one along with the other DBZ characters. Because Goshen is part Saiyan (¼) he is unusually strong. He can change forms between a mutant turtle/human/ Saiyan/ Felinamen cross to human/ Saiyan but most of time stays in “human” form and his looks a lot like Goten and Goku.

Weapon: Goshen has the magic power pole that was a gift from his grandfather, Goku that Goku got from his adopted Grandfather.


I would also like to be Bella, Goshen’s mother.

ooo... cool! I'll be using the background history I created for Cyborg Don from my fic more than Image's then. And then HorseTechie (who in this RP will be called Dyana... like how Azure has a similar char called Frost!), can be like a genetically engineered cyborg hybrid that CyDon created. (whoo... I can't believe I finally have and explination for her existance!)

Name: Dyana
Type: genetically engineered cyborg hybrid
Species: cross between the DNS of a horse, a turtle, and a human, but cybernetic technologies and living metal has been infused with everything
Color: Dark green skin with silver armor and attachments; brown eyes; copper-colored mane; a flat chest (no mammary glands); bipedal with full hands/hooven feet
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 250 lbs
Age: 18 years of existing
Sex: Sexual reproduction not required for her type, but acts like a dominant female

Skills: She has high endurance strength to run long distance, or to carry heavy things. Has many techical gadgets on hand to help solve a problem (GPS tracking, cell phone, monitor, calculator, appt. book) Her skin is self healing, and can quickly recover from a minor injury. Very good memory.

Weapons: Both of her hands can morph into anything that is not a complex mechanical object (no guns!). An electro-charged pitchfork.

Attitude: Passive-Agressive. Sometimes she'll jump first, and ask questions later. Sarcastic, somewhat stubborn... since she thinks she knows it all. Dyana has to be proven otherwise before she'll believe in another person's advice. Doesn't like people messing up her well laid out plans either. In short, she's a loner, and somewhat rebellious. Very sensitive to people's rude comments. Many times, what she does is not the right way. Can come off as being a "bad person" if no one doesn't understand her motive. But then. she will be nice and gentle to those who are equally as nice. Likes kids. Does not want to kill... not matter how much people bother her. O course, a good zap with her pitchfork tends to keep them at bay for a while.

History:
She is the end result of some genetic experiments CyDon had done. Dyana is the combination of his wife, her favorite horse, and himself. Why he did it... because he could! :P And that they really couldn't produce any children of their own. The rest will be revealed later as the RPG goes on.

Okay, here's what I've decided for the storyline. It is 2042. Mutants and non-humans are a recognized (though not entirely accepted) minority. About thirty years ago, Splinter passed on and the Turtles separated. I do this because it will save writing their history together and will allow the Turtle's players to decide what they've been doing the last thirty years. You don't need to tell us where they've been or what they've done if you don't want to. You can make it up as you go along if you want.

Leonardo (whom I will be playing if there are no objections) has come back to New York trailing the assassin who killed Splinter (also played by me and will be revealed later.) Whether the other Turtles are in, or are returning to New York, is up to the players.

A few rules:
1. This is set in the Mirage universe although you won't need to know details. You can bring in any Mirage characters to play if you wish as long as it's appropriate. Remember it's 2042, the Turtles are approx. 70, although in really good shape, think how old the other characters would be. Other Turtle-verse characters may be used, as long as there's a good reason or excuse.
2. Two "mains" per player limit. You may play as many minor characters as you wish, or just one main, but I don't want our cast getting overloaded.
3. I would appreciate not crossing fandoms.
4. I'd also prefer if the Turtles or Splinter didn't have any natural children. Dyana is fine, having been genetically engineered. Adopted children are fine, also. Significant others are fine but you can't say you're playing so-and-so's spouse/girlfriend/? unless you are playing so-and-so or have their player's approval.
And the basic RP rules. Any questions? Comments? Concerns? This rough outline is negotiable.

If the guys can't have natural children, then maybe Bella can be an adopted child of Mike and Kat. She will still be of Felinamen decent and will have Goshen, but Goshen's father is no longer alive. He's backround is still the same except that he doesn't have any mutant turtle in him and we'll say that none of the other Saiyans are alive, they were all killed off making Goshen the last one. He will be a child in this about 6/7 but he isn't an ordinary kid.

I was thinking about introducing Pryde (the mutant lion I made using HeroMachine), but he has ties to the X-Men and Kali said we shouldn't cross fandoms. Maybe I can think of a way to introduce him as a completely different character...

Maybe there can be two RPGs that are set in the future. One will Kali's RPG and ther other will be a diffent one. It could have a simular storyline and set in the same time or a different time or entirly different. You could use Lyon there and I could use Goshen.

*sigh* Look, the only reason I didn't want to do fandom-crossovers is that I, and I'm sure a few other people, aren't very familiar with those other fandoms. As long you don't confuse the other players with unexplained details or plots from other fandoms it would be fine. Sorry, I guess I should have explained that. I've played RP's where people mix characters in from a fandom I have no clue about and it gets confusing. I really don't want to alienate people or leave anyone out.
