In 87' I was 7 I think, but it depends on what month TMNT came out exactly. If it was Dec 87' then I'd have been 8 I think.

In December 1987 I was 5 years old. I had been into He-man and Thundercats prior to TMNT. I do remember watching the show with my friends. It was so fun, and the show was on daily, not just a lame once a week. They sure were the good old days, since I have no friends now, not for 5 years. I am now 21. I really miss having friends and doing things together, like watching cartoons and going to toy stores. I am really into the new TMNT show and toys, but boy do I wish the old show would be released in dvd season sets.

I know, I was thining the same thing, so many youn'ings! Again, no offense meant in any way by that. I was 7 in 1987 when it came out, but I didn't see or hear of them till like 1989 or 1990, when I as 9/10 years old.

Well actually, correction. My b-day is Dec. 27, 1979 so in 1987 I was actually turning 8 that year, but I was 7 most of the year. It's a tad bit confusing, since I'm born at the very end of the year. So i'm the number of the year, so to speak (7 in 1987, 8 in 1988, etc.) except till the very very end of the year. Gee, guess who's almost 24 and doesn't feel like it, mannnn!
