The conversation about Fred wolf turtle VHS cover art got me thinking,

what are your favourite TMNT art styles? which iteration has a style you like the most?

I like how the art of each TMNT iteration makes them look distinct from each other, I like the slight anime influences in some of the Fred wolf,2003 and 2012 art, but I also like the textures and detail of the 2007 turtles.

But outside of the turtles, there are creative designs in the villains, other mutants, locations and vehicles aswell,

if there's any official artwork (from any tmnt media) you like, that can also be discussed here.

Chris Allan used to be my favorite Archie TMNT artist.

Jim Lawson and Paul Harmon. Loved his art in Gang Wars.

Mateus Santolouco rocks when it comes to drawing TMNT.

I also really like Ben Bishop’s art style, the one he used for the flashbacks in “The Last Ronin”. (I don’t agree with everything he tweets but he is a pretty good artist).

Honestly, I always liked the design work in the Red Sky seasons of the Fred Wolf show. Most of the designs were kept (Shredder, Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady, Splinter and the Channel 6 crew all look the same as before), but the Turtles, April (whose hair was changed between season eight and season nine) and Rat King were changed (and I think Casey Jones was tweaked a bit, since his mask does look a bit meaner than it did in the previous seasons). I honestly wish someone would have some model sheets of these designs.
