I guess I kinda figured the crystal would be a version of Kirby's crystal from the get-go... Didn't quite guess it would be used to make green symbols.

Things I never expected to see in TMNT: Donatello powering a gadget with a magic crystal :lol:

Also I know that there wasn't any real suspense in the reveal that Jeff is an Utrom-piloted mech merely disguised as a Mutant Town resident but I still love the Terminator homage they got in

I loved the little touch (literally) of Jay trying and failing to use his ability on Jeff.

Its a good issue so far, However
Seeing Alopex run off like that was out of the nowhere, Sure she couldn't deal with the whole Shredder thing, And then seeing Hob?
Why would she run off like that leaving everyone behind all of a sudden, after she was helping the people in mutant town?

The Jack Kirby crystal stuff being in IDW is nice so far, I wonder how they'll use it. Good issue overall even if it feels like the real meat of the story is happening in the specials and mini-series.
