Anybody know if IDW has any broader interest in the Capcom license beyond the TMNT crossover? And might we see a sequel crossover with the Turtles published by UDON?

1. What are Raph and Mikey doing with their weapons? Do Jennika's claws have an extra blade?
2. Why are there 4 Street Fighter Characters and 5 Turtles? Was Jennika added after the fact?
3. Ken's foot looks downright Leifield-esque.

Don't see a huge problem with Mikey (tucking the chuck under his armpits, right?) but Raphael is holding those sais in the most bizzare way possible. THAT had to have been a late digital edit, I expect.

Now that I look back at it I think you're right. I thought he was holding the chains weird, but it's just perspective.

So since IDW got the license we had crossovers with Ghostbusters, X-files, Batman 3 times and a Nick crossover with B:TAS, Power Rangers, and Usagi if you count the latter due to the first crossovers with the IDW Turtles. And now Street Fighter.

Say what you will but IDW knows how to make these long dreamed about crossovers happen. Only a matter of time before we get X-men, Scooby-Doo, and Mega Man.

Really seems like it should have happened at least once or twice by now but an officially licensed (http://tmntentity.blogspot.com/2011/01/sonic-hedgehog-10.html) TMNT/Sonic the Hedgehog crossover is at the top of my what-if list.

Godzilla might be interesting too, with the TMNT filling the role of "human side story."

Is it just me or does it look like Jennika was edited in? As if the artist didn't originally draw her and then added her in photoshop? Something about the perspective and where she is placed seems... Off somehow. Like she's squeezed in there or something.

I'm not sure why they added Jennika in. Was it a last minute call or something? If she had to appear in something, wouldn't it have made more sense for her to be in the Power Rangers crossover?

The MMPR crossovers don't use the main IDW versions of the TMNT, they're more mix of both the IDW & FW'87 versions.

This crossover is part of the IDW continuity however, although how it's all going to fit together with the Ongoing and the Usagi crossover that's releasing at the same time is going to be complicated to say the least.

If this leads to them being in the next game, that's a huge win. I love the treatment they received in Injustice, but I just think the gameplay is stronger in SF.

Jennika would logically bump into Don and Raph, yet she seems more free to move than she should be.
Her claws look like they could easily cut into either of them.
It's not clear where her feet would be placed as if she's jumping , while all the other characters are clearly standing.
Five characters going up against four is clearly asymmetrical.
Jennika does not appear to be faced by particular SF character like the other turtles (though it looks like she's going for Guile with Raph).


... And if the intention was always to have the five of them, why not pick any other of the... Let's see here... over 90 characters in the series to round this out?

True, but I think it could have worked out better if these crossovers were reversed since there'd be the 5 Turtles going as the original 5 Rangers.

If you look at how the shoulders align, then hers go up to Guile's elbows and in front of Ken's eyes, while the other Turtles still align better with the SF characters. It still looks really awkward.

I feel like it's safe to assume that this is not in canon. Most of IDW's crossovers have been brand crossovers, where they take A version of the other characters, and A version of the turtles. The turtles side is almost always based on IDW continuity, but usually a broad strokes version of it up until that point, which at this point includes Jennika. Even if it does look like she was photoshopped in after the fact. Bottom line, this one doesn't SEEM like it would be canon. It just seems like a story done for fun.

Still waiting on that TMNT/Daredevil Crossover.

This has to be non-canon even if they used Jennika right? Street Fighter characters existing in IDW TMNT would make no sense.

At least with Ghostbusters you can make the exception due to being 80's properties, and Usagi Yojimbo is expected and the usual dimension hopping. This would make no sense to be canon, so it should be its own thing like the Batman crossovers and the Power Ranger ones.
