Maybe this belongs in the fan creation section, but I wanted people to actually see it so I'm putting it here. :P
I'm sure most of you have at least heard of this AI that will take whatever you submit and spit out some result. I just started messing with it, mostly seeing what sort of pictures it would come up with, mostly weird SalvadorDali lookin stuff. Today it came to me to submit "create a song in the style of Def Leopard about the Ninja Turtles". The results were hilarious to watch as it wrote what could easily have been the theme song to a cartoon series. I've seen people use Chat GPT to make actual songs you could listen to but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Anyway, I present to you "Ninja Turtles Rock" (yes it came up with the title too).
Ninja Turtles Rock
Create song in style of Def Leppard about teenage mutant ninja turtles.
(Verse 1)
Living in the sewers, they train with might,
Four brave turtles, ready to fight,
Mutated by ooze, they grew up strong,
Ninja skills, they'll prove everyone wrong.
(Chorus)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, heroes in a half shell,
Fighting for justice, they'll give 'em all hell,
Leo leads with his katana sword,
Mikey parties, nunchucks never bored,
Donnie's a tech whiz with his bo staff,
And Raph's tough attitude, he'll make you laugh.
(Verse 2)
With Splinter as their wise sensei,
They battle evil, night and day,
Taking on Shredder and his Foot Clan,
Turtle Power, part of their plan.
(Bridge)
They love pizza, it's their favorite treat,
Cowabunga, they can't be beat,
Green and mean, they'll save the day,
In New York City, where they play.
(Guitar Solo)
(Outro)
So raise a shell and sing along,
To the tale of heroes, brave and strong,
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they're here to stay,
Def Leppard-style, in rockin' ninja way! Woah! Yeah! Woah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Cowabunga, dude! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Yeah! Cowabunga! Cowabunga! Cowabunga, dude! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Cowabunga! Cowabunga, dude! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Cowabunga! Cowabunga, dude! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Cowabunga! Cowabunga, dude! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Cowabunga! Cowabunga, dude! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Cowabunga! Cowabunga, dude! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Yeah! Cowabunga! Woah! Cowabunga! Cowabunga! Cowabunga, dude! Yeah! "Write a short movie scene of the Ninja Turtles defeating Agent Bishop."
The scene opens with the Ninja Turtles stealthily making their way through the dark corridors of a laboratory, searching for Agent Bishop's secret hideout. They cautiously make their way past high-tech security systems, knowing that one wrong move could trigger an alarm and compromise their mission.
Finally, they arrive at Bishop's lab, where they find the agent hunched over a computer terminal, studying some sort of biological sample. Without hesitation, the turtles spring into action, launching themselves at Bishop with incredible speed and agility.
Bishop, caught off guard by the sudden attack, attempts to fight back with his advanced weapons and technology. But the turtles are too quick for him, using their expert ninja skills to dodge his attacks and strike back with devastating force.
As the fight continues, the turtles work together in perfect harmony, each one using their unique skills to keep Bishop off balance. Leonardo leads the charge with his razor-sharp swords, while Donatello uses his bo staff to disarm Bishop's weapons. Michelangelo dazzles with his nunchucks, while Raphael lands crushing blows with his sais.
Despite Bishop's best efforts, the turtles ultimately emerge victorious. They knock Bishop out cold and make a quick escape, leaving the lab in shambles behind them.
As they make their way back to the sewers, the turtles share a moment of camaraderie, reveling in their hard-fought victory over their arch-nemesis. With Bishop defeated once and for all, they know that the city is a safer place for everyone.
I also decided on a dumb crossover.
"Write a story about the Ninja Turtles teaming up with Spider-Man to defeat Darth Vader and Emperor Pilaf."
The city was in chaos as the forces of the Dark Side had descended upon it. Darth Vader and Emperor Pilaf had formed a dangerous alliance, and their armies had taken control of the streets, terrorizing innocent civilians and wreaking havoc at every turn.
The Ninja Turtles knew that they couldn't take on these powerful villains alone, so they reached out to their friend Spider-Man for help. The webslinger swung into action, joining forces with Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael to take down the evil duo.
The team first had to find a way to take down Vader's advanced weaponry and Pilaf's magical powers. Donatello and Spider-Man worked together to create a high-tech device that could disrupt the signals controlling Vader's suit, while Michelangelo and Raphael used their ninja skills to sneak into Pilaf's castle undetected.
Once the team was in position, they launched their attack. Spider-Man swung through the air, taking out Vader's troops with his web-slinging and agile moves, while the Turtles fought on the ground, their ninja weapons slicing through the air.
As the battle raged on, it became clear that Vader and Pilaf were not going down without a fight. Pilaf used his dark magic to create a powerful energy field that threatened to overwhelm the team, while Vader unleashed his lightsaber, cutting through the air with deadly precision.
But the Turtles and Spider-Man refused to give up. They fought with all their might, using every trick in their arsenal to keep the villains on the defensive. Eventually, their hard work paid off, and the Dark Side was defeated.
As the team emerged victorious, they shared a moment of relief and camaraderie. With the city safe once again, they knew that they had truly made a difference in the world. And as they went their separate ways, they knew that they would always be there to fight the forces of evil, no matter what dangers may come their way.

Donatello and Spider-man, the two science guys, teaming up and working together on a device. I'm impressed an AI can understand all this.

It seems to already have evolved a fair bit from when I gave it a go some weeks back, and found it unable to tackle metaphysical questions or generate a decent original plot outline from prompts I gave it. But coming up with something within an existing franchise is bound to be easier than generating original content.

Its already had happened in Russia, where a student presented his work, written by GPT. After initial rejection his work was accepted as "being an interesting experiment".
I am sure, its just question of time, when all students will use GPTs for their works. Jus like with calculators and smartphones.

I've long been interested (https://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=36749) in Peter Laird's early conceptual notes for the sequel to the 1990 TMNT film that ultimately became The Secret of the Ooze. I asked ChatGPT to flesh out a 1990 sequel film synopsis that follows Laird's thought trajectory more accurately. The initial output was fairly generic but the more I prompted the Chat bot, the more interesting the AI concept became.
Feel free to take a look!

Given how 80s serie is structured, at some point AI would be able to write and animate it and create passable sound-a-like VAs.
Oh, AI can already replicate voices much better than any impression ever could, as long as you feed the enough info to the AI it'll do a great job and for the 1987 show you have nearly 200 episodes worth of data. But even with shows that only had 1 season it should be enough data or the AI to replicate the voices and mannerisms, because yes it does that too. Just check out the fake Joe Rogan, Fake Biden, Fake Trumps on youtube.

Exactly, the right prompting makes a huge difference so you don´t get something too generic. It´s the tip of the iceberg, you can feed it for example scripts of the 1987 show so it can understand how the show is structured, and if something is off you can tell AI to fix it. Yes it involves work to train it but it can create stuff better than most fanfics trying to be like the 87 show. Not to mention that it´ll only continue to become easier and better over time, and when I say overtime I don´t mean year down the road but say in the next year. Just look at how image generated AI changed from just a year ago to 6 months later, the difference was like going from NES to PS4 in terms of quality.
what´s best is that we´re already seeing early AI video generation, it´s still primitive but damn impressive. Give it less than 5 years and you´ll be able to give an AI a script (also made by AI) and it´ll animate it in the style that you want, in this case the 1987 show.

I asked it “Could you write what season 8 of the 90s Tmnt cartoon would’ve been like if it had been 17 episodes long rather than 8. A few more eps outlined with Shredder and Krang operating out of the Hall of Science.”
Here’s what it gave. Wasn’t want I was expecting, but interesting nonetheless.
Certainly! Here's a possible outline for season 8 of the 90s TMNT cartoon if it had been 17 episodes long, with a focus on Shredder and Krang operating out of the Hall of Science:
Episode 1 - "Revenge of the Foot Clan": Shredder and Krang launch a new attack on the Turtles using an army of upgraded Foot Soldiers. Meanwhile, April discovers a plot by the Foot Clan to steal advanced technology from a top-secret military base.
Episode 2 - "Turtle Apocalypse": The Turtles are trapped in an alternate dimension where the Foot Clan reigns supreme. They must find a way back to their own reality before it's too late.
Episode 3 - "Krang's Revenge": Krang seeks revenge against the Turtles and Shredder for betraying him in the past. He unleashes a powerful new weapon that threatens to destroy New York City.
Episode 4 - "Bebop and Rocksteady's Big Breakout": Bebop and Rocksteady escape from prison and team up with the Foot Clan to take down the Turtles once and for all.
Episode 5 - "The Gauntlet": The Turtles face off against a series of deadly challenges orchestrated by the Foot Clan. Each challenge is designed to test their strength, agility, and intelligence.
Episode 6 - "Shredder's Secret Weapon": Shredder unveils his latest creation - a massive robot that can withstand even the Turtles' strongest attacks.
Episode 7 - "Return of the Rat King": The Rat King returns and teams up with Shredder to take over the city. The Turtles must ally themselves with their old enemy, Leatherhead, to stop them.
Episode 8 - "The Hall of Science": The Turtles infiltrate the Hall of Science to take down Shredder and Krang once and for all. They discover a shocking secret that could change everything.
Episode 9 - "The Ultimate Showdown": The Turtles face off against Shredder and Krang in a final battle for the fate of New York City.
Episode 10 - "Mutant Madness": A new villain emerges - a scientist who creates mutant monsters to do his bidding. The Turtles must stop him before he unleashes his creations on the city.
Episode 11 - "Attack of the Fly": Baxter Stockman returns with a new, deadly invention - a giant fly that can control other insects. The Turtles must find a way to stop him before he unleashes his army of bugs on the city.
Episode 12 - "The Turtle Terminator": The Turtles encounter a cyborg assassin sent from the future to kill them. They must figure out who sent the robot and stop them before it's too late.
Episode 13 - "Rise of the Triceratons": The Triceratons return to Earth seeking revenge on the Turtles for their past actions. The Turtles must ally themselves with the Utroms to stop them.
Episode 14 - "Ninja Tribunal": The Turtles are summoned to Japan by the Ninja Tribunal to face a series of tests to prove their worth as ninjas.
Episode 15 - "Leatherhead's Revenge": Leatherhead seeks revenge on the Turtles for betraying him in the past. He teams up with a group of mutants to take them down.
Episode 16 - "The Final Battle": The Turtles face off against their greatest enemies in a final battle that will determine the fate of the city.
Episode 17 - "Epilogue": The Turtles reflect on their adventures and the lessons they've learned. They say goodbye to their friends and enemies before going their separate ways.

You should keep pressing it to elaborate on each episode with a three-act structure!
Seems with a couple of episode concepts that it is pulling in lore from 2k3 era episodes and later.

Certainly! Here's a possible outline for season 8 of the 90s TMNT cartoon if it had been 17 episodes long, with a focus on Shredder and Krang operating out of the Hall of Science:
Pretty cool, even though AI had confused few continuities, like using Utrmos out of nowhere and labeling Leatherhead as turtles ally (though I can see Leatherhead teaming up with Turtles to betray them later).
Also, I find it funny how quite a few episodes is "someone want to take revenge for their betrayal in the past". I don't remember it being prevalent in OG show or 2k3 one, lol.
Also, I support notion to task AI with given more meat to the scripts.
I wish I could fed it my 62 episodes I've written back in 00s to see what it can come up with, but I don't have access to it.
Yeah AI can get confused, or bring info from other places, so you have to revise what it brings you or put limits on what information you want it to take into consideration and what is more important etc. The free AI has a limited amount of "tickets" it can attend to your account so you really gotta learn how the limits work to get the best results. Prompting is also very important a generic "Tell me what season 11 of the original Ninja Turtles cartoon would be" is not going to get the same result as a better described prompt with more revisions.
Also you get much better results by using GPT4 instead of 3.5, to use 4 you can use it if you are on Edge and just use bing to bring it up. Or you can pay for it if you rather do that.
Entertainment is going to change as a whole, in less than 10 years people are going to make their own shows. They'll just say to netflix "I want to watch a sequel to TMNT 1990 that is in the same style" and you'll get the movie. Netflix will be roided up on ML to get the best results. In the meantime in the next year or two you're going to see great quality stuff come from fans who still have to do it manually, I'm talking actual episodes of say the original show with the original voices in the same exact style that you wouldn't even know. I can see Zairus or oldmanwinters being the first ones to give us something like that in the next 2 years since they're always fiddling around with projects like these.
---------------
I believe the limit for free chatgpt is 3k words so after that it starts to forget stuff and omitts stuff. unless you pay you'll need to wait a few iterations before you can get a more accurate AI that can actually learn from every episode of the OT and give something more accurate. It's still gets it better than many if not most fanfics though so it can be fun to mess with.
Even though the thought of getting an AI-creation to simulate beloved voice actors just seems taboo to me, I am really curious as to how far and quickly the whole thing is going to escalate.
Think of people like James Avery though or fan projects like redubbing the OT episodes that didn't have the original actors though. Stuff like that would never happen, I consider that fair game.
Yeah, it's going to escalate rather quickly, it'll be a cat and mouse game for a while like when Napster came out and it took a while before we got itunes and spotify or when youtube couldn't have uploads for 10+ mins etc. restrictions that don't really work to stop the problem but make executives happy until something like spotify and netflix comes out.
The artist Grimes is letting people use her voice using AI for music that people might want to make. She said she'd just split any earnings 50/50 with the creator and she can do that since she's rich and has no label anymore. while you have the Drake/weekend duet that was immeddiately shut down by record labels just losing on money.

I actually have been messing around with Chat-GPT stories for potential TMNT episodes in the Fred Wolf style, and it seems to have trouble nailing the tone and rhythm of the classic show, but especially problems with recalling its own continuity. Granted, I didn't make it easy on it after I asked for a potential sequel episode to "Cat Woman from Channel Six" then a sequel to "Were-rats from Channel Six" then another episode that's a sequel to both AI-generated sequels (all this one top of several thousand words of prompts+AI generation in the same chat thread that spread out over numerous days). See next post for the lengthy copy-paste of the TAIL-end (nyuk nyuk) of that cat sequence because it's almost over 10,000 words long, and wouldn't fit in this post.

FADE IN-EXT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - DAY
The Turtles materialize in a dark, dingy warehouse. They look around, disoriented and confused.
LEONARDO
(still recovering)
Everyone okay?
DONATELLO
(shaken)
I think so, but where are we?
RAPHAEL
(suspicious)
This doesn't look like the place we were trying to go.
MICHELANGELO
(worried)
What if something happened to April?
Suddenly, they hear a sound from the shadows. They draw their weapons and cautiously approach.
LEONARDO
(into the darkness)
Who's there?
A figure steps forward, revealing themselves to be none other than April in her cat-mutant form. She looks confused and disoriented.
APRIL (CAT FORM)
(panicked)
What's happening to me? Why am I like this again?
DONATELLO
(stunned)
April, it's you!
RAPHAEL
(skeptical)
How do we know it's really her?
MICHELANGELO
(defensive)
Come on, Raph! Who else could it be?
LEONARDO
(calmly)
Let's focus on getting out of here first. We can figure out what's going on with April later.
They cautiously make their way through the warehouse, only to be confronted by the Rat King and his army of were-rats.
RAT KING
(smirking)
Welcome to my humble abode, Turtles. It seems my plan has worked perfectly. You've delivered April to me, just as I knew you would.
LEONARDO
(angrily)
What have you done to her?
RAT KING
(chuckling)
Oh, nothing permanent. I simply needed her to serve as bait. And now that you're all here, I can finally put my plan into action.
The Rat King gives a signal, and the were-rats attack. The Turtles fight bravely, but they are outnumbered.
RAPHAEL
(grunting)
This is getting ridiculous!
DONATELLO
(panting)
We need to find a way out of here!
MICHELANGELO
(defiantly)
We're not leaving without April!
LEONARDO
(determined)
Then let's make sure we don't have to.
The Turtles rally together and fight back, determined to save April and stop the Rat King's evil plans.
FADE OUT.
Oldmanwinters:
Better! But how does the mutated April become Rat King’s captive and why does he want her? That plot twist did not seem to follow logically after they all got transported to the warehouse filled with were-rats. April seemingly got transported there only a few moments before the Turtles, so it would be unlikely Rat King would have had time to use her as “bait” for the turtles.
Chapt-GPT
ACT III
FADE IN:
INT. RATS' LAIR - NIGHT
The Turtles look around in horror as the Rat King cackles maniacally. They are all standing in the middle of the Rat King's lair, surrounded by dozens of were-rats. April, now a cat-mutant once again, is bound and gagged in the corner.
RAPHAEL
(angrily)
Let her go, Rat King! She's got nothing to do with this!
RAT KING
(chuckling)
On the contrary, my dear Raphael. She has everything to do with this. You see, I knew that you and your brothers would come looking for her. And now that you're here, I have a proposition for you.
The Rat King motions to a nearby table, where a strange device is sitting. It looks like a control panel of some sort, with a large red button in the center.
RAT KING (CONT'D)
You see this device? It's a remote control for the were-rats. With just the push of a button, I can make them do anything I want. And if you don't do as I say, I'll use it to make them tear your precious April to shreds.
LEONARDO
(angrily)
You sick bastard! We'll never bow down to you!
DONATELLO
(determined)
We'll find a way to stop you, no matter what it takes.
RAT KING
(amused)
Oh, I have no doubt that you'll try. But trust me, you won't succeed. You see, I have an army of loyal were-rats at my command, and you're just four measly turtles. You don't stand a chance.
MICHELANGELO
(smiling wryly)
You know, you talk a big game for a guy who's about to get his butt kicked.
The Rat King snarls in anger and raises his hand, ready to give the order to attack.
RAT KING
(shouting)
Attack, my minions! Tear them apart!
The were-rats begin to charge towards the Turtles, their claws and teeth bared.
RAPHAEL
(preparing for battle)
Well, what are we waiting for? Let's show these guys what we're made of!
The Turtles unsheathe their weapons and prepare to fight back against the horde of were-rats. The Rat King watches from the sidelines, his finger hovering over the red button on the control panel.
RAT KING
(snickering)
Let the games begin.
The Turtles charge towards the were-rats, their weapons flashing in the dim light of the lair. It's a fierce battle, with both sides taking heavy losses. But the Turtles are determined to protect April and stop the Rat King, no matter what the cost.
As the battle rages on, the Rat King looks over at the control panel and hesitates for a moment. He knows that if he pushes the button, he'll be able to defeat the Turtles once and for all. But he also knows that it will mean the end of April.
For a moment, the Rat King seems to waver. But then, with a cruel smile, he reaches out and pushes the button.
Suddenly, the were-rats all freeze in place. They look around, confused and disoriented.
DONATELLO
(stunned)
What the--? What did you do, Rat King?
RAT KING
(grinning triumphantly)
I just used my remote to send a signal that deactivates the were-rats' mutations. They'll all revert back to their human forms now, weak and defenseless.
The Turtles look around in amazement as
Oldmanwinters:
Getting interesting! Your last prompt cut off abruptly after “ The Turtles look around in amazement as”
Chapt-GPT:
Sorry about that! Here's the continuation of the story:
The Turtles look around in amazement as they realize they are standing in the middle of an abandoned laboratory. The walls are lined with cages and test tubes, and the floor is covered in dust and debris.
DONATELLO
(looking around)
Guys, look at this. It looks like this place was used for some kind of genetic experimentation.
LEONARDO
(realizing)
That must be where Rat King got his were-rat serum.
Suddenly, they hear a voice coming from the shadows.
RAT KING
(chuckling)
Impressive deduction, Turtles.
The Turtles draw their weapons and prepare to face Rat King.
LEONARDO
(angrily)
What have you done with April?
RAT KING
(smiling)
She's safe for now, as long as you agree to obey me.
The Turtles exchange a worried look.
RAPHAEL
(skeptically)
What's the catch?
RAT KING
(smiling)
Simple. You work for me now. And if you don't, well, let's just say April won't be so lucky.
MICHELANGELO
(defiantly)
We'll never work for you!
RAT KING
(amused)
We'll see about that.
The Rat King disappears into the shadows, leaving the Turtles alone in the laboratory.
DONATELLO
(urgently)
We have to find April!
LEONARDO
(determined)
And stop the Rat King once and for all.
The Turtles head towards the exit, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead.
FADE OUT.
Oldmanwinters:
I am curious what you had in mind when you previously wrote: “As the battle rages on, the Rat King looks over at the control panel and hesitates for a moment. He knows that if he pushes the button, he'll be able to defeat the Turtles once and for all. But he also knows that it will mean the end of April.
For a moment, the Rat King seems to waver. But then, with a cruel smile, he reaches out and pushes the button.”
Chat-GPT:
I apologize for the incomplete response earlier. Here is what I had in mind after the Rat King pushes the button:
The Rat King's cruel smile quickly turns into a look of horror as he realizes the true consequences of his actions. The device he activated causes a massive explosion that engulfs the entire warehouse, destroying everything in its path.
The Turtles and April are thrown to the ground as debris rains down around them. When they look up, they see the Rat King stumbling out of the rubble, badly injured but still alive.
The Rat King gasps for breath as he crawls towards the Turtles. "What have I done?" he moans. "I was so consumed by my desire for power that I couldn't see the truth. But now...now it's too late."
The Turtles and April approach the Rat King cautiously. "What truth?" Leonardo asks.
The Rat King reaches out and grabs Leonardo's hand. "The truth that power is nothing without love," he says weakly. "I thought I could control everything, but in the end, I only destroyed myself."
With those words, the Rat King slumps to the ground and passes away. The Turtles and April look at each other in sadness and disbelief, realizing that their enemy had finally met his end.
As they walk away from the wreckage, Donatello turns to his brothers. "You know, the Rat King was right about one thing," he says. "Love is the most powerful force in the universe. Without it, we're nothing."
The Turtles and April nod in agreement, knowing that they had just learned a valuable lesson about the true meaning of power and the importance of compassion and empathy. They vow to always remember the Rat King's final words, and to honor his memory by living their lives with love and kindness.
Oldmanwinters:
That was an unexpected ending! I realize asking for all these hypothetical sequels to 30-year-old cartoon episodes must be very confusing, but thank you for giving me some amusing scripts!
Chat-GPT:
You're welcome! It was fun working with you to create these hypothetical scripts. Don't hesitate to come back if you have any other creative writing prompts or ideas you'd like to explore.

I’ve also been using ChatGPT to create songs in different styles, and it’s surprising how well it can mimic the tone of certain bands. Sometimes the results are hilarious, but other times it really does feel like a complete, legitimate track. Your Ninja Turtles rock anthem definitely sounds like something that could’ve been on a late-80s cartoon soundtrack.
I’ve also tried giving it more unusual creative prompts, just to see how far the AI can go. One of those experiments involved describing a mysterious orb (https://world.org/find-orb) and building a fictional backstory for it.
It’s pretty wild how flexible the system is once you start pushing it into strange territory.

Artificial intelligence has gotten so big that it’s alarming. You can use it to create many different things whether it’s art, music, videos, or photo edits. The rise of AI in our society is something that Krang would either embrace or be behind it himself.

I don’t mind it, but it is starting to ruin the Internet. I almost 90% of the crap you see on Facebook is fake.
A good example is after Jake Paul lost the fight, there was so many AI videos of him saying he will retire from boxing, and saying how he tried to pay it off, but it didn’t work. All a bunch of crap. So many AI videos of football players, hockey players, baseball player, saying things that they never said. The trouble with AI right now is most of the stuff is fake. AI is not quite good enough, so you generally know if it’s fake.
Given another couple of years, and you seriously will have no idea what is fake and what isn’t fake anymore. I like the idea of it, but it is definitely dangerous, and it will lead to some very bad things in my opinion. You eventually won’t even need real life actors for movies anymore, you will just have AI actors. Even some videos I have seen of Jean-Claude Van Damme that I thought were real, but they are AI. It is amazing what they can do with AI right now, and it will only get more intense in the future.

A.I. is also being used in videogame development too, mainly to help with backgrounds or character models even in high profile game companies in Japan and the U.S.
I also feel bad for comic book artists, they're definitely going to be screwed over the most. Nowadays you don't even need to hire someone to draw a comic book cover or some pages, you can get AI to do half of it.

That's not happening in mainstream. And I wouldn't feel too bad for the artists -- a bunch are already using AI to do things like draw out pesky time-consuming backgrounds and such for them.

Agreed. As long as A.I. doesn’t completely take over

I lost a friend redcently due to that. Actually a few. But in one case, the person works in the government and really doesn't appreciate her picture being used for birthday posts or anything. Once a picture is uploaded to ChatGPT, Gemini. Seedream, or anyehere; it;s out in the wild for anyone to find and use So I'm told. No matter how private you might think a site/app is, it probably isn.t. Has anyone heard anything similar?
The only TMNT-related things I've done are Shredder and Tasu having a dance-off set during Secret of the Ooze, and the animated FW Turtles looking at the camera menacingly.
People like to blame AI about a lot of problems the internet already had before AI, it's just that those problems are now being made with AI. Nothing has changed really, the slop was already there since normies started using the internet and influencers became a thing.
Everyone is using AI except people too old to understand or modern day ludites who are a loud minority.

This is NOT how I imagined that SkyNet or AM would take over the world.
Anyone else sick of those obviously phony AI Tai Chi ads on YouTube? Those alone make me want a massive solar flare.
But that’s the redneck in me.

The more images and drawings made with artificial intelligence I see, the more bored I get. And what amazes me is how quickly I get bored.
Instead, I'm rediscovering the beauty of amateur drawing, the certainty of the imperfection of a pencil scribble. I'm beginning to understand what I've always suspected: the beauty of a work of art lies not in the work itself but in the hand of the person who created it, a human being placed in space and time, with his personal story, his challenges, his passions, his obsessions.

I actually have been messing around with Chat-GPT stories for potential TMNT episodes in the Fred Wolf style, and it seems to have trouble nailing the tone and rhythm of the classic show, but especially problems with recalling its own continuity.
So just like the original show then?:)

That makes sense. Thanks! I'm trying to be better. I even took a small breal from generating and posting birthday images for certain people on FB.

Almost everything on IG and Facebook is fake lately. It’s so frustrating
Most normal people see a stone on the street and move on. Society's weirdo sees a stone and are compelled to "use it". And, as we know, stones commonly break glass.
It's goes the same with any object for those people - including A.I. Suddenly society's weirdo has a new tool to "troll people". Look at the forums we are on.... you can always count on a troll to interact like a troll - so of course there is fake $#!( all over from A.I.
ChatGPT is a terrific resource if you find valid ways to use it in your life. I'm -this- close to paying the subscription fee for it myself. I have some cool ideas for setting up "A.I. Agents" and seeing how that goes....
