Called it weeks ago. I just knew it would turn out this way.

Is that satisfaction or disappointment?

Well it seems like the gang of four are done with, I guess they won't be killing the Mutanimals like the Archie versions of the characters did. Karai seems to be putting Baxter in her backpocket but I don't think she's going to betray the Turtles or their friends. Seems like a way to keep Baxter in line.

Who was the snake mutant contacting when Zodi took her phone? Looks like the call from Karai. I imagine Null and Zodi will make short work of the Foot Soldiers in the next issue so it seems odd to leave a bunch of minions to deal with her.

Definitely satisfaction. The only bad thing about this issue is that it's the last in the mini, the IDW Turtleverse with its extensive supporting cast could do with a full-time ancillary title again and certainly one so full of political intrigue.

Plus, seeing Rocksteady pull a Thunderclap is worth the price of admission in itself!

Zodi's not there, though, is she? Don't be too surprised if we never do see the outcome of this particular situation other than Null popping back up for the finale, and we're just left to assume she made it out just fine and/or the Foot retreated when Karai left.

Null contacts Zodi to come there to help her in the last panel she's on. Also is this the last issue of the Alliance? I thought there was one more, or maybe I'm confusing it with the other Armaggedon game mini-series.

Although I'm enjoying this mini-series I'll be glad when this whole arc is over, it's just too confusing following 3 separate series at the same time for the main ongoing, the regular issue, the Alliance issues, and the Armaggedon game issues. I imagine casual fans are confused out of their minds trying to follow this properly.

Sorry, I missed that bit, I was flipping pages so fast to read the conclusion I knew was coming. But well, I guess that answers that: the rest of that fight most likely happens off-panel and we're left to assume Null gets out okay with Zodi's help.

And yeah, this is the last issue. There were only supposed to be five initially, even. The main AG mini will have eight.

I find it funny that Alopex hasn't any money.

I mean, she's pretty much naked all the time, where would she put it?

That whole bet gag was amazing! Some Dragon Ball vibes right there, along with Karai starting off slow and even taking damage so she could assess her opponents.

well, they could've made a joke that she keeps a wallet with pictures of the weasel's in her chest wrappings.

So if this mini is over, what was actually the point of Karai's whole "alliance?" She just befriended most of the Turtles allies and all they really did was stop the gang of 4.

That's it, I guess. Unless they pop back up for the big finish of AG in a "portals scene" type of thing, but that’s looking more doubtful now. The biggest development here is Stockman and Karai's new dynamic, and who knows where that will lead.

Join the lesser evil against the greater evil. Although they never thinking that there might be another ways, and they don't have to rely on a criminal.

Again, this shows that the whole magic training arc is a waste. Because this doesn't significantly improve the Turtles strength or skill. I don't like to see main characters get weaker for no reason, especially this is a ninja, action, adventure comic.

Looking foward to see Null will use other powerful demon powers if she ends up really angry and just want to kill her enemies. Maybe Pyrokinesis, or have a monster form like other Resident Evil bosses.

I mean Null should be able to fry all those generic Foot Soldiers in an instant. We really have no idea how powerful she is in IDW, can she like move super fast and immediately kill humans by a mere touch as shown? Can she grow wings and fly like Archie Null did?

It's weird, Null has been around in the comic since 2016...over 7 years, and we have no idea what she can really do yet. Is she a god, a demon, like what is she even?

IDW Null has always been a casualty of IDW's most consistent problem, that being "Way too many things and characters, never enough time to get to any of them in a timely fashion." When Null showed up in Archie, it was an event. The stakes were always high. IDW Null is just "evil", but not in the spectacular fashion that old Null was, who was basically Satan. We only just got Null's motive, and she still hasn't really done anything all that noteworthy. She's just also here.

Yeah it is weird, when you think about characters like Null or Ch'rell who debuted like 6-7 years ago, IDW expects readers to sit there for literally years in real life to see their characters or stories progress. Just think about the number of people who were reading IDW back in 2016 or so and no longer following the comic, not because they lost interest, but because real life issues may have happened (people could have gotten married, had kids, got busy in real life, etc).

It's kinda insane when you stop to think about it. I was still in my 20's when IDW TMNT debuted and now in mid-30's and half my life has gone by as this comic has gone on.

Stockman and Null should have more spotlights in Mutant Town arc. These two are more like the archenemies of the Mighty Mutanimals.

If they don't waste +20 issues on slice of life story. We can imagine Null may use "cure or a better QOL" as an inducement to induce some victims to voluntarily become her pawns. And she does keep her word in one way. Just like a real devil would do. Her spies also secretly provoked more conflict between the mutant victims and Mutanimals, even causing casualties on both sides.

Stockman won't just build a stupid giant wall, he'll end up build better and safer shelter, but the victims he takes in are mostly foreigners or families of rich people. Hob's bomb attack was supposed to be an international event. If there are other foreigners among the victims, other countries will be very concerned about this incident, and will not even allow a mere mayor of New York to imprison their own citizens.

So Armageddon Game is over? What ended up happening? Anything big with Cudley, Cherubae or did anything game changing happen?

Alliance has finished and issue #7 of AG is out today. #8 has been bumped back to June for some reason.

It's all very confusing to keep track of all the tie-in titles!
