Awesome that Slash is the baddie for the second SMA Cont'd arc. Hopefully we'll see plenty of the rogue's gallery in the spotlight as the series goes on. (I'd adore a new Leatherhead story.) Dan Schoening hopping on as an artist is also fantastic. His impeccable ability to recreate different cartoon styles fits this book like a glove and the samples from both the second cover and that bit in TMNT/GB 2 make me very excited.

Speaking of LH, looks like Barlow got him back on his feet in the main ongoing. (Though, still looking very "zombie meatslave.")

So I can't help but notice, Jennika is not referenced for 141 and 142, she's even implicitly excluded with the use of the word "brothers". The solicitation for 140 mentions that "several of the Turtles’ closest allies separate themselves from the brothers".

Eeeeehhhhh, maybe I'm reading too much into this?

So the first thing they do after The Armageddon Game ends is split everyone up again... Did they have to repeat the same things again and again?

Sophie Campbell's epic TMNT story "Damage Done"

Methinks that they want us to see Campbell’s run as epic

Maybe not as “epic” as they think, but “Damage Done” is certainly appropriate

Yeah I'm kinda rolling my eyes at the whole "Turtles and their allies split up again" because isn't this like the 5th or 6th time they've done this? And it's always the same, they're at odds with each other for like 4-5 issues and then they all make amends with each other anyway and go right back to where they started. I mean this literally just happened too right in the early 100 issues when Sophie took up the reigns after City at War.

I do like Leatherhead being back as we haven't seen him since they removed Krang from his body, so I do hope Leatherhead gets some major role as he's been shafted in the IDW run. I don't care for Dr. Barlow much but I am surprised a lowly minion like him is still around.

I can see Campbell really want write "After the Bomb" stuff. They're going to continue the future Lita's timeline. Honestly, if Lita can change the future without any consequences. That would be weird.

Must be a typo, more like "Sophie Campbell's epic fail run".

I wonder why besides Tom Waltz and Sophie, does IDW have no other writers? It seems once Tom is done Sophie comes back in, and they still co-wrote a lot of the Armaggedon game too. I think the comic really needs some fresh blood and I'm really curious why they don't have any other writers come into the main ongoing.

If they can handle this disagreement more calmly than before, even if they are still split, but it didn't end in a serious row. That would be interesting. At least it show that they have grown a lot. What I'd like to see is that they don't have to rely on each other all the time, and they can actually solve their own problems.

Campbell did say she wouldn't allow others to kill her characters. This is why some small-time character, like Natsu are still alive. Also, I think she will make sure Leo will finally hooks up with Koya.

I guess going be the adverts, Armaggon will be the next "big" villain, replacing Rat King, Krang and Ch'rell, Null, and Shredder/Karai as the next big threat.

I was wondering who the next big villain would be with the others either being defeated or turning good, and Armaggon is the best choice. It will also likely tie into Venus and Donatello's astral plane/time travel stuff too.

Hoping for Chien Khan too myself, especially since we'll be focusing on ninja clans and a power vacuum in New York.
