Somehow, it feel like the writers still don't know what to do with Alopex's story development.

So Alopex leaving the Turtles lasts a grand total of 2 issues. LOL.

Every time IDW does one of these, "main characters are drifting apart" stories that they've done like 20 times over by now, they always reunite only a few issues later that it makes the whole thing pointless. I swear, how many times have we seen Alopex go off on her own by now? Or Raphael? Or Casey Jones? Or the Turtles just drift from each other and Splinter?

I feel like IDW has repeated this story 20 times already.

I feel like IDW has repeated this story 20 times already.
She did started her own clan called "The Claw Clan" and in future Lita's future timeline, Alopex did end up on her own and the weasels being part of her clan.

We don't know how much of that is planting the seeds of a possible future, The fact Mutants integrated with the rest of the humans in New York, That's kind of hinting at a possible outcome many years from now.

Right but imagine instead of being in a house with sweaters, they're on a roof somewhere dressed in their ninja gear, looking a little beat up and worse for wear after a fight, but relaxing against eachother after a hard fought victory. That's more what I wanted to see out of their romance. Lovers on the battlefield, not... whatever Mutant Town turned everyone into.

A nice cuddle during a time of peace is nice. I just didn't like them turning her into a valley girl. Alopex is amazing as a character.

And I mean in a general sense of course, FW was bad with consistency. Most screenshots I'm looking at shows purple hands that are proportioned to regular human hands, though i wouldn't be surprised if there are plenty of shots where they range from perfectly human to monsterlike.

They just keep repeating endless arguments. In issue 140, they spend almost the entire issue arguing if they should even fight crime anymore and how they'll have to get jobs and rent apartments.
