Greetings all-not sure this is the place to ask, but I figured I would try.

I saw on Facebook that Peter Laird stopped in at Granite City Comicon th4e weekend of September 16/17. I dont think he's made any appearances since 2018 that I know of.

I have been watching for this guy for the past few years or decade to get my TMNT #1 signed. (I Figure Eastman will be easy to get).

I will literally hop a plane to get his signature-dont care where.

Any idea how to find out about his appearances or does anyone know where he might show up soon?

My advice is to get on facebook on befriend "Shellback Artworks." That's Steve Lavigne.

Peter Laird will almost certainly not commit to con dates. I mean, he didn't commit to Granite State this year and just showed up a day with his friend Steve. But you could ask Steve his con schedule and ask for any cons where Peter might consider attending in that region. It'll be a big gamble and you may be disappointed, as Peter will or won't appear at the last moment.

Alternatively, if the signature means that much to you, you could ask Steve whether he would be willing to help facilitate getting it signed for you. Be aware that that IF he agrees to help you, and you're willing to trust registered mail, you might not see the comic again for a looooong time as the pals will see each other when they see each other. However, you can trust Steve Lavigne 100% if he is willing to make it happen for you. The fact that it's an issue 1 might help convince him to assist you, as he knows how special those are to fans and has been helping sell copies online in recent years.

Good luck!

There's a TMNT 40th event being organised by Steve I believe, don't know when yet next year, but you can probably put money on Peter being at that.

Thanks for these replies- I dont use facebook much but I went ahead and followed shellback. Ive met Lavigne several times at cons in the midwest-even bought a Laird signed Fugitoid off him and talked about Laird never coming out. I will try that route for sure.

And thanks for the info about TMNT 40th-ill dig in on that too
