Subtitled… “Alopex Must Die!”

I wouldn't be surprised if Alopex Vs. Ninjara is a rival thing, but at the same time - it would be awesome.

I bet this Ninjara is one of the residents of Mutant Town, a human turned mutant fox.
Ninjara in the Archie comics isn't a mutant, but from a race of fox people on a hidden island.
So I'm curious what the backstory for this Ninjara is gonna be.
Also its possible that Chien Khan might show up in the comic as well, She replied with a wink when a fan asked about Chien Khan.

Judging from what's going on now with Donatello, I suspect there will be time travelling shinanigans going on.

Makes sense since it's looking like Chien Khan is entering the universe in Karai's new mini. Interested to see how her relationship with the Turtles goes in this iteration. (Since Alopex kinda already fills the role of the Raph romance part of her character.)

Is she still a fox? What kind was she supposed to be before?
Interesting design though, at least from that angle. The ears to me feel kinda like the ancient Egypt depiction of jackals, or like Anubis.

Looks like a raccoon.
I think she might be a raccoon yes, sorta like how Scumbug became a stag beetle in Nick due to there being Cockroach Terminator.

So character in name only.
How creative.

While not outside the realm of possibility that they might make her a raccoon, I highly doubt they'll just change her species like that. Also, she looks like she has the same digitigrade legs that Alopex has.

HEr colorings and tail rings make her look like a red panda.

I don't think she's a red panda or raccoon, There are different types of foxes out there, She might be a Cross Fox, a type of fox that can have stripes.
Sophie Campbell has confirmed that she is not a mutant, So she could be a Pantheon like JagWar, Who knows.

I don't get why Sophie is introducing the character now when she's leaving the series with issue #150. And Ninjara probably won't show up till issue 147/148 at the earliest since we're still dealing with the conclusion of the current arc. She's basically introducing a character to immediately hand the reigns to whoever replaces her.

Just got some more confirmation from Sophie Campbell.
She's not a mutant, and not based on any Fox, But of course she looks like one.

She's not a cross fox! She's not a mutant so she isn't a species of real-life fox.

She mentioned she might be doing a spin-off series for Alopex and mentioned trying to see if she can get some of the Archie characters canonized into the series through her.
Judging from her tweets, it looks like she succeeded. She also teased the return of Chien Khan even.

Sophie Campbell says that Ninjara won't be in the issues leading up to #150, so probably after #150 and so on.

Kind of like how Wein made Giant-Size X-Men and created most of the new X-Men therein, but handed the duties over to Claremont immediately.

It's weird to me how IDW is suddenly going full Archie characters now too. I mean we already had Jagwar, Dreadmon, Man Ray, Null, and several others in the book.
But just recently they introduced Cherubae, Noi 'Tar Dar and the Nova Posse, those 4 wind characters, Cudley, Armaggon, and now we're getting Ninjara and Dog Star gang, etc. It's like they're now mining the entire Archive universe for characters. They don't really have that many other major ones to choose from though since a lot of characters overlap with original cartoon characters or characters already in IDW (like Leatherhead, Mondo Gecko, Wyrm, Wingnut/Screwloose, etc).
Oh and I forgot Malinga was introduced a long time ago and they never did anything with her.

I would like to see some of the other archie TMNT characters that are from the future timeline show up in IDW, Like Verminator-X and Mezcaal, So far Bob and Carmen who are from the future timeline have appeared in the IDW universe.
Jasper Barlow likes experimenting on mutants and turning them into cyborgs, I could see them do a version of Manx aka Verminator-X if Barlow is involved.

Pretty much, but I would laugh if it turns out to be him from an alternate universe.
Didn't know Maligna was from the Archieverse, but considering some of the characters they brought in over the years from different universes, I think their roadmap is pretty much designed to bring in characters from whatever universe that meets the criteria of the plot at the time. I just find it amusing that it looks like they are bringing in Ninjara to fight Alopex just to mess with the fans that have been saying Alopex is Ninjara for years.

So far the IDW comics brought back some classic characters, but in a twisted sort of way, Dirtback and Groundchuck appeared in the recent issues, and they were some of Barlow's mutant cyborg experiments.

There are over 400 characters in this book and 7 confirmed queer characters. Only one is a major part of the cast.
Yet you're constantly bringing it up. You bring up queer characters probably more than any queer person on the planet.

Personally I’m glad that they turned Jennika into the token bisexual instead of the core turtles. It’s better then the hot **** when they retconned Iceman into being gay in the X-Men comics.
But seriously, you two need to lighten up. Prepare for the zombie apocalypse instead.

To quote the late Kurt Cobain, “Everyone is gay”
Honestly if Ninjara, a strong female character, doesn’t come out as queer in the IDW series, I’ll be shocked.
But you’re probably right: Just by talking about it, I’m giving those sex-obsessed weirdos even more attention. And that’s just what they want.

"We all"? I didn't know you have headmates, honey. Thanks for telling me. You'd like to know that having headmates and / or talking as, if you represent more people than yourself, in most cases, is a sign of a mental illness or an arrogance, which in itself sign of a little mind.
Also, I am not interested in opinion of an unfunny muppet.

You laugh, and yet the sheer number of Christian or Bible Belt type preachers and pastors who have been convicted of child porn or child abuse charges in the last 5-10 years is staggering. So there’s some truth to the statement at least.

I have no idea what priests and preachers have to do with anything, considering I, or anyone else for that matter here, haven't mentioned them in any capacity. By this logic you can mention people in general, since all people, not only priests can be sexual predators and abusers.
But there is a slight difference: queers were historically suspected to be sexual deviants and predators. They have a vested interest in getting rid of those labels. In some capacity it is a question of their reputation and survival as recognized group inside the society.
However, amount of sexual deviants, including rapists, abusers, groomers and the like among "queers" (especially among trans and nonbinary furry creeps) is indeed staggering.
When your whole group is suspected to be abusers and pedos, and members of your group constantly being outed as groomers and pedos, even though, said group argument for its existence is that they are not dangerous perverts, maybe those suspicions are not unfounded after all.
Basically all most prominent Internet trans activists, are either suspected or have been outed as abusers or groomers. Which puts them and their peers in a certain light.

eh... it's kinda of a bad stereotype that a woman can't be strong without being gay. Like there's something 'not straight' about a woman if she's tough.

It’s like they believe that straight women are being held back by their men and the only way they can reach their full potential is if they choose carpet instead of wood. Not every straight woman is a submissive Suzy Homemaker, and not every lesbian is an intimidating butch biker.

The problem is that these characters are boring, unlikeable and poorly writing. At least the anime Bleach has a cute tranny who's a villain in the evil Jesus Nazi army, and can turn other people into zombies. There is plot is that he was teased by a Japanese samurai femboy because he "smelled."

You were refuting the statement “muh, homophobes think about gays more than gayes themselves” and yet the type of American Christian preacher who makes his living demonising those who are gay, so many have been convicted in the last few years of the very thing they are preaching against. Hypocrisy.
