Mike was the first?

On the ninja turtles game site, http://www.konami.com/tmnt/ , they said that the first turtle drwing was of a turtle with nunchuks strapped to it's arms. What i've heard is that they were all drawn togther in the first drawing. Does anyone know if the konami site is true?

That sites right. The DVD's also show the first two drawings. One of a turtle with Nunchucks strapped to it's arms. And I forget what the other one was. But yep, Mikey was technically the first character designed. :)

i've seen the first drawings recently, but it is hard to tell what peter's first turtle has got strapped to his arms. but if some of you has got the Raphael one-shot. there's a picture of the very first group drawing they made.

Yeah... the first Turtle drawn looked like Mike, cause he had chunks... but I doubt he was known as Michaelangelo. He was just yer everyday run of the mill TMNT prototype. So, you could say... all of them were drawn first, cause the sketch represented all of them as a collective whole. Cause like, I don't think they knew how many they were going to have, what the names were, and what the personalities were gonna be. Yeah.... :D

I don't think the TMNT were REALLY the TMNT we all know and love until the FANS took them into their hearts, lives, wallets, whatever. Without the Fans, there would be no TMNT, just a black-and-white comic two guys from New Hampshire came up with. It's because people bought the comic that the turtles came to be all they are today, so it's not really a matter of which came first, the turtle or the egg, it's a matter of when did the Turtles come to BE.
