I hope sales remain good with IDW flooding the market with like 7 or 8 comics a month. Imagine newcomers trying to get into IDW with this relaunch and seeing all these extra comics they have to buy.

For the Mirage collections I am praying they move onto Volume 2 and beyond soon. Maybe that way we'll finally.get Volume 4 and the rest of Tales v. 2 collected eventually. IDW has never collected most of the 2000's comic run of Mirage.

Patrick Gleason drawing AND writing a TMNT comic? Hah. I know him through Green Lantern many years ago and he always would tell me he was a huge, huge TMNT fan. So this is nice to see.

I guess it's "news" that Matt Howarth's "Turtle Dreams" is being reprinted in that Compendium. I don't think IDW has reprinted that one yet.

Yet they skipped issue 8 on these collections despite reprinting it in the Ultimate collection years ago. Makes no sense.

Looked through the descriptions, seems these Mirage collections collect everything but the Rick Veitch issues (The River trilogy and Sky Highway), and issue 8 is excluded for some reason. IDW has never been able to reprint Rick Veitch's issues which isn't a surprise, but it's still a shame nothing has been able to be worked out after all this time. But everything else including the micros and 7 issue Tales is included.

As I said, I really hope we get a 4th book to collect the Shell Shock short stories along with the 13-issue Volume 2. That would make the perfect collection for a 4th book.

A 5th book would be another re-printing of the Image series run with the 3 new issues.

Then a 6th book would be Vol. 4 along with Tales. v. 2. Hopefully these books continue to sell well so they aren't canceled.

First issue of TLR2 was a disappointment to me but I’m still in because look at how gorgeous that work is by the Ezcorza brothers. They’re some of my favorite TMNT artists of the post-Mirage era for sure.

If they ever do a compendium 4 would they go directly to vol 2 or have a volume collecting the rest of tmnt mirage publications during vol 1 mainly all the short stories, in shell shock, palladium books, turtles soups, mirage minis, challenges, front pieces from the tales tpb, time pipeline, haunted pizza, grunts and gizmo and fugitoid?
