Interesting that they've brought in some elements from 'Karai's Path' from TMNTU #12-15, kinda solidifies it as the middle of this little trilogy of sorts.

It's kind of weird that their worst nightmare are the turtles, only Natsu's nightmare make more sense. I think Casey's nightmare should be about his father, not Raph. Karai had no reason to be afraid of the turtles, she was already stronger than them. Maybe let her face Shredder or her parents. When that Dragon said the price would be high, I guess that meant the Dragon will take over her body or something.

The reason it was the Turtles was… Mateus wanted to draw the Turtles in the story somewhere. I wrote a draft where Casey’s father was the ghost (and Clyde wasn’t along at all). But Dark Leo was always in Karai’s scenario. Being stronger than a thing doesn’t always eliminate a fear for one, and for two, he was the representation of “someone better will replace you no matter how hard you work.” Yeah, Chen is the one directly threatening her in this way, but Leo is the better face of that fear.

Especially when Mateus wants to draw him.

I was confused why Mike appeared for 1 page in Natsu's dream and then shifted to her father. Mike on vacation with a surfboard is the first thing Natsu would see? Lol

I do like that Zodi is showing disinterest working for Karai. I always thought her immediately working for her after the Armaggedon game felt rushed and out of character. This issue brought that up and I really liked that, curious to see what happens with her next issue.

In her villain mirco comic, she saw that Dark Leo was weak because he had no resolve to kill her, so I doubt if Dark Leo was really any threat to her.
