Yeah, if yu have registedred in mycomicshop.com you can check upcoming comics, and it too displays Drewave #9, coming in february 25th. It's probably just old information.

yeah but it makes you think, doesn't it. I think i'm gonna write to milehigh or mycomicshop!!!

Btw Karpo_007, can you give me a link to the upcoming comics on mycomicshop.com. i can't seem to find it

Since i am not allowed to do double posts then i will post in this post again.

Well i got an answer From Milehigh's NICE department and i'll quote:

''Hello,
As far as we know the Dreamwave comic has not been canceled, it is continuing.
Thanks
NICE Department''

I'm posting here once again!!!

They replied. And i got this answer.

''Hello,
All we know is we have not heard any news of it being canceled before you sent us this email. Diamond Comics does not keep us updated on cancellations, so to be honest we have no idea if it has been canceled or not. We will continue to take pre orders for it up to the end of the month and if it is canceled, then they will never ship.
Thanks''

Well do the comic shops know nothing, or do we know too much???

I sent them the quote from Peter David Himself. I'm just waiting for an answer!

you people get excited too easily :P

the comic will not continue
Peter David bit the bullet and decided to tell us early
even though NOTHING is confirmed it is 98% likely the book is canned

that is old news
so in other words
"yes we know too much"

well, maybe Peter David wanted to start a public debate. I don't know. Maybe he wanted to see how the fans would react hehe. :D

It seems the iinfo is just out of date. The writer of the book knows if it's cancelled or not. And the upcoming comics are under "Sub service".

I was talking to the guy at one of my local comic book shops and he said Dream Wave is in a lot of trouble, I mentioned to him about the book being cancelled when I first heard about it before. Now it seems that a bunch of the licenced DW comics are or have been cancelled. We also talked a bit about sales how much more it is when you get the glossy paper, color, and licencing fees paying each person it all adds up. For Mirage to have vol 4 with cheaper paper just black and white no fees they can make more of a profit I guess even though the sell like 6-7k an issue compared to around 20k with DW... DW might not be making any money on the comic was something else he thought. He didnt hear anything about it being cancelled yet though but it didnt surpise him.

well, I have only ed one DW comic. Its pretty cool. But there was just way to many ads in the comics and not to much story pages. Vol 4 is a lot better.

Buy the Konami ED. of Dw No.1 there are no ads in that one, although I don't mind the ads. DW's TMNT is/was cool
