If only they would come to the UK - but they won't because McDonald's over here stopped giving away plastic toys some years ago - there are lots of other great toys McDonald's have had in recent years that we'll never see here.

Honestly I applaud this, I assume it is local law there or something? While these are cool they are clearly "junk nobody needs" IMO. And yes, so is much of what I have bought in the past. I'm an idiot. Laws could have stopped me.

You can exchange the toys (but maybe not if they're un-sealed?).

I just did so a couple weeks ago. A friend of mine who worked at McDonald's long ago told me this. When I went in to do it, they seemed to look at me like I was crazy, so I spun a tale for them like "we keep getting the same toy, we have 3 of these at home".

My partner wanted some of those "Lil McDonalds" miniatures they just had, so one day we bought 4 happy meals, and in two of them were the SAME Ms. Marvel figures from TWO YEARS AGO. I was like NOPE.

Yesterday I was in McDonald's and the Happy Meal toys appeared to be Playmobil animal figures, so they might still have the Hello Kitty TMNT toys in the near future- the next ones are Care Bears.

Heh, the McDs closest to me ran out of toys and boxes last week, and now I’ve ended up with three Golden Marios from the old Mario Kart 8 promotion!

They did have the Hello Kitty X TMNT toys in the UK but only for what seemed like a couple of weeks before being replaced with Dobble games - usually the Happy Meal promotions last about four or five weeks.

9 months after this promtion ended, I've randomly remembered that no McDonald's locations near me had the toys when I checked :tsad:
